Yea no prob. It is definitely the typeface they use, they have probably just modified some characters for use with their own branding which is very common.

Also they may have added a stroke or rounded off some of the edges for their own usage.

But you can tell dustmites is just a bootleg, the outlies are so bad, if you use it at display sizes 14pt + you really notice how choppy it is.

thank you :D so, that guy was almost 80 when designing sho! unbelievable. as he died in offenbach, maybe that is the reason why tom and ed used to play there on earlier germany tours???

Was that a serious question?

The typeface wasn't designed specifcally for them, and I highly doubt Tom and Ed have ever met the type designer nor played in Germany as a homage to the typeface designer.

of course that was not really serious. but i've always asked mysel why they used to play in offenbach - this is a place, not very big, not very good ;-) and not many big acts performing there. last tour chems did not play in hamburg, one of the biggest german cities but offenbach. why???

offenbach ain't worth a shit. i want tom and ed to play in hamburg! they do not even play munich this time which is germany's 3rd biggest city. what's that? hope they play hurricane festival this year, that'd be more than cool

Kln (Cologne) is a good compromise, but Frankfurt would be far better. I have seen Kraftwerk in the Jahrhunderthalle over here, and there are alot more places where Tom & Ed could rock the house.

frankfurt would be too far away for people from the northern part -such as me-, even if it is only 50 mins between K and FF
