(approx. 5 pounds!!) and you guys are thinking to your witty little selves - "original copy, no way man!!" - but yes! all legit!!!

hey white label or anyone else that has a copy of EBW 7,
can you check your copy of EBW 7 and tell me what speed it is? My copy of the record is currently at home and I'm at college right now. When I listened to it for the first time and captured it, I was playing the record at 33 rpm. But since then, I've listened to the lives recordings of it and other captures, something I didn't do before I captured and listened to it for the first time. Comparing them, the live version and other captures seemed speed up. I slowed down a capture I had of EBW 7 to the equivilant speed of a 33 if it was played at 45 rpm and it sounded like what I had captured.
Anyways, what record speed to you guys have on the 12"?

sneakerbeater Escribi:
in short the record is a 45rpm
This is what I was looking for. and yes I was playing it at the wrong speed. it's fine though cause i can do a quick edit and have it play just like a 45. infact it'll be better for recording purposes becuase ill have better resolution.
anyways, slow it down to 33rpm, it's bitchin

yeah i have posted about these birdie tweats on here before.
the tweats at the end of ebw7 are exactly the same as the end of leave home. you can also just hear them at the end of chemical beats and one too many mornings. it seems to be a recurring theme on chemical brothers productions. the only thing i can think of is that its a nod of respect to heavenly.

Those bird noises are on lots of hi-hat crash samples in their songs and I thought it was part of it - right at the end of the Faster remix for example. For me it's just one of those sounds that I associate with the chemical brothers. Perhaps it was intentional/unintentional either way it is just one of those things! Sometimes if there's no perfectly timed hi-hat crash with bird noise it just doesn't sound like a chems track!
