Just in case you are wondering " In a modern jacket " is a very normal saying in Holland.
Maybe in England you say " In a modern trousers " or " In a modern jumpsuit "
Hahahahahaahahahahahahaha :lol;
( its nice to laugh about your own jokes you should try it sometimes :P )

Oh btw - i wouldnt call this a Harpoons Re-Work.
Its a totally different song than Harpoons and it really stands alone imo. To me its as if with the Harpoons sample they felt like they could go so many directions. Its a beautiful and unique peace of music that can fit in both songs. But to me Snooprah is really a song on itself , and not a rework or remix. As if they didnt make Snooprah AFTER Harpoons , but they made both pieces of music but decided to put Harpoons on the album as it fits in better with the flow of the album and it provides that rest-element in the album!
THOSE SIRENS!!
Cowbell, Sirens and 303. The 3 best sounds ever :-D
HA!

WHAOH this track made my day, was VERY down today this track rocks man, yeah it sounds like 90's but I a modern jacket.
First i was scared that snooprah only was a reversed version of harpoons.
Very nice tom and ed!!!
would have fitted nice on the album instead of harpoons

I disagree. As much as i LOVE Snooprah , it would be to much " dance " and Tom and Ed are know for having albums that go up and down, that lift you up somewhere and take you down again. If Snooprah wouldve been on the album , it would STILL be wicked , but the flow of the album as it is now is like their signature style. They are know for making beautiful , melodic , suiting pieces of music and i'm glad they decided to put Harpoons on the album.
However, i LOVE Snooprah!
Ok i will stop typing now :-P

it is not a harpoons remix has elements of song to siren and the chemicals bootleg of don't fight feel it/ out of control in it. glorious meldoy and just a brillant song and has the quality which happens in a lot of chems songs that it has a rocket propelling the song and makes it sound like the most important 7 mins of your day

Hmm, dunno. The bassline is quite ok and i like the synth/bassline solo part and the live elements are kewl of course.
But in the end i feel like i don't like it that much. Maybe a better quality version could change my mind (never thought to say that one time)

WATN could have been easily 10 minutes longer.
Let's make a list of Snooprah sounds:
+"Clear" burst (WFFFRYYYYYYYYYYAAAA  ) sound used on Out of Control live.
+Initial Sirens used in ARR Live (fuck yes Sirens back).
+Harpoons vocals (of course).
+Some elements of Don´t Fight Control.
Any more?

As Jeanie said before, T and E probably made both along with a few to many extra tracks and had to decide which to put on the album and put the Harpoons we have on the album and decided that Snooprah was either too much like AMMC or was too much an uplift from Battle Scars.

what a mind-fuck that was trying to think of funky+harpoons.. kinda breaks into harpoons it like Got Glint has. guess this will silence a lot of pessimism about the Salmon Dance release, this is an amazing song. Makes me want to do a Snoopy dance!

Harpoons definitely sets up TPWHYN on the album, making it a better choice, but obviously I like this song more
