make sure u mitha fuckas that have down loaded it do buy it.
I just find in annoying people rubbing it in when they have down loaded it, when its not exactly hard to find, so why make a fuss to those who are waiting for a real copy.
Dude , relax , nobody's making a fuss to anyone.
And yeah , OFCOURSE i'll buy the real cd.

Hey all to You peopples. I just listen to the new Push the Button album. It;s AMAZING!!! :) Nine Inch Nails just re-released his old Downward the Spirall album in 5.1 system. Do You think, Chemical Brothers will re-record his old albums in 5.1 ???That would be great!
cheers
I don't know that the Brothers will re-release their material in 5.1. First that would be a massive undertaking. And 2nd, they have stated in the past that mixing in stereo is where it's at for them - I think they said that mixing in stereo was challenging enough and they want their music to sound as top notch as possible on even the lowest end stereos.
I know you should never say "never" but it doesn't seem likely.
Still though - it is quite mind boggling to imagine the Chems in 5.1. I imagine it would be like a live show, being swallowed up by this huge sound coming at you from all directions...
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

personally i think there are many other projects they could undertake that would be far more exciting. its a nice idea, but i like the idea of projects that look forward rather than doing what essetially a bit of re-tweaking!
i think a lot of people here would love to see a live album and dvd.

I've only heard Galvanize (radio 1 premiere and extended version, and versions from single), Come Inside and Surface to Air (live Chile set)... so possibly the least of anybody here!
I must say it was an amazing experience to be there for the very first play of Galvanize on Radio 1, and I *love* those live versions of the tracks from the Chile set... I just really want to here the rest now as it is on the album, all together.

I just got a pre-release copy of PTB the other day from a friend who works for BBC radio and it's pretty bloody good. I've been a big Chems fan for a long, long time and one of the reasons for that (other than the obvious ones) is that they're just very consistantly good and PSB keeps this going. My only complaints are: Surface to Air is such a beautiful track, one of their best yet, but why oh why does it end so soon and so suddenly? It almost sounds like they didn't know what to do with it once they'd built it up, but knowing how perfectly shaped all other Chems tracks are I know this isn't true.
My only other observation which could be a tad critical is that there really isn't one track on it which could be described as a monumentaly loud, pumping dance anthem. There's some good noisy moments on it but there's not many of Tom and Ed's famously brilliant build ups and climaxes (on initial listens anyway) I guess they're showing a more subtle song based side this time around, which isn't to be discouraged.

i thought at first surface to air ended to sudden. but maybe breaking it down was to obvious. i trust tom and ed's production skills and if that how it end then thats cool with me. it kinda adds a bit of a mystery to the tune!!
the same happens with otter rock and pioneer skies.

i live album and dvd would be lush.
I know the Brothers are busy men but i would love to see.......
A compliation of there remixes
A compliation of EBW's
A back to mine style cd
totally agree with you.
i hold a promo copy of PTB. but i didn't listen to it so far. i've heard galvanize a many times now, incl. the radio premiere at radio1 but i deciced to wait until 24th even havin a promo copy. what i will do on 24th - get up early, go to town, get my copy of PTB at my local independent record store (not at one of the big chains).. and then, on my way back home or to uni, listen to it for the first time on my cd walkman before feeding my stereo with the promo vinyl later that day
love is all.
