Uh, yes. This track is kickass

Best part is when the big, drone drums come in with huge BASE while the crowd cheers. I think it is named BASE 6 because there are 6 different basslines in the song...Am I wrong?

NO! - Base 6 is good - and great at the end.

- but Power Move is the most crapish (??!?) tune from the the surrender-b-side era. bad bad big beat. sounds like somthing from '94.

I think maybe you have a problem. You can't seem to get that fact that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the styles of old. Just because something was really cool a few years back - and you loved it - doesn't mean you have to hate it now.

It can sound 2003 to me and still be crap. Power Move has a good intro, but the track is crap.

All I can say, I have hated pop music from day one (ninetyninetys) and always will. Its the whole 100% produced 'aritist' that music companys make. Its all crap.

MC Marsh predicts that 2003 will be the death of Reality TV which means no more Will Young, Gareth Gates etc. I think they will have disappeared by next year! :)

the problem about base 6 is not just that it soundsold - it also sounds like something from playstation game - it is not 'art', - just pure boring 'big beat up-date sound' - a sample saying 1-2-3-4-5-6, a drum used 1000 times before [...]

sometimes it is great when people make the same music (the railway raver) in an old style - but the brothers have to move on: STOP making boring big beat!!! - some of their 'newer' big beat tracks are great (Music: response, orange wedge) because they use another formular - but base 6 and the test etc. - baaaad, boring.. - give us an album which uses the best things from surrender (thats a lot!!!) + the star guitar 'sound' (and som hoops) + some new and fresh - thats my hope for the next chemical brothers album.

base 6 is a cool track man.have you heard it in a club?saying its old big beat is wrong it has more james brown influence than prodigy influence ,i think its well funky and also quite ravey.powerr move is aclassic this has awesome beats and if you dont like beats you dont like brothers-sounds modern to me all those skippy beats in the middle sound like 2002 rnb-some of you are fucking ignorant!!!!
