A few short clips from the recent Bugged Out at Bognor set have been uploaded by someone now. Not much new apart from a different bit of the Q Tip Track. Nice lights/visuals though.

Tom Rowlands said : "The most important feature of the album is that it connects with us emotionally in some way. We hope for finding a new way to make you feel. We dream of new sounds and different frames. We have worked with some guest singers but mostly the album is pure Chemical Brothers."

Well, I'm really looking forward to seeing tame impala, jungle, rodrigo y gabriela, run the jewels, and Raphael Saadiq.

Well it means UMG is being a complete copyright dickhead, again. It's a secondhand recording of something the Chems themselves literally played publicly! As far as I'm aware copyright laws give them zero jurisdiction over recordings of that nature unless the artist objects (ala Prince) or it hasn't been released and wasn't meant to be heard either (ala the U2 beach recordings).
It doesn't mean anything we don't know already know though - there were definitely new Chems songs in there.

Yeah, i'm too think this is the sign that new chems material close to be released. It also can mean that it already in UMG database)))
I think you're right. They got some clever frickin software. Annoyingly Sony Music Entertainment does this too. 'SME' won't even let me listen to THIS upload of Leftfield's Not Forgotten; a track that came out in the 90's. Ridiculous.
It would appear that Universal have also blocked the Q Tip clip that was about 2.02 long that's embedded on the Definitive List thread.
Incidentally, in terms of First Play in the media for new Chems, I'm putting my money on BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. She already hosts their flagship Friday night dance show and she now does Zane Lowe's old show Mon-Thur too. Considering This Is Not A Game was premiered on that show (yeah we've all tried to forget that track haven't we?), I think it would make sense to do the same again.
Also sad news re dance music on BBC Six Music. The 'Six Mix' as they called their Friday night section, was cancelled after last Friday. They're gonna have Iggy Pop doing a show instead. I like a bit of Iggy but couldn't they have cancelled something else? Erol Alkan only popped up about four times a year on Six Mix, otherwise it was a varying roster of presenters. So unless Erol gets a new radio show it won't be him.

Was I the only one who thought it was fun to rap along with Q Tip on Go?
I had a bash at writing down the lyrics a while ago. So for those of you who want to recreate the track in your head, here are the lyrics. I can't imagine there are any mistakes here. NO no...
(I wonder if UMG will try to get this post banned)
…Everybody goin outta their skins
Everybody jumpin outta their mind
Everybody goin outta their skins
(Break)
Everything getting harder to find
Everybody jumpin’ outta their mind
Everybody goin’ outta their skins
See we here to the end when the trouble begins (you feel it)
Meditates like we’re breakin the mould
Breakin’ out and we breakin’ the codes
Similar to the jack of the stodes (?)
Til the dance minuets, til your tech explodes
And get it out, send your body to flight
Everybody got a target tonight
Everybody come in love with the vibe
All you sons and you guns and you ladies that slide
Every morning like you pimpin’ the earth
Celebrating, ain’t you feeling the girth?
Menstruating like you’re doing your worst
Tryin’ to send me a solution then for feeding the earth. They go…
CHORUS
(Go-ooo), no time to rest
Just do your best (Go-ooo)
What you hear is not a test
We’re coming here to make you… x4
Go!
You know I gotta make it on time
Life’s hard and I be the guy
Gotta get you to the other side
To where the butterflies and where the bees reside, (the birds!)
Five minutes we’ll be peaking the pain
The process is where you see me remain
I’m head here sharp shootin the game
Gonna hit you in the soul, execution is aimed
We get together and we building a fire (pew!)
There’s smoke and it’s taking us higher (pew!)
Hands up everyone it’s fun (pew!)
If we splits up naked then we can see in the sun (pew!)
Metropolis on the edge of control (pew!)
They take our money but they don’t take our soul (pew!)
Fuck that! Eagles ruined no more (pew!)
Won’t do no dole on the end of the pole. We go…
CHORUS

This gets a little tricky, and a little ironic.
It's a little tricky because you're absolutely right that Lenz v. UMG (a.k.a. the "Prince song case") did give us a distinct impression that this type of recording would support a fair use defense of copyright infringement. However, this case has not yet been decided on the merits. The case only survived a motion to dismiss, and there has not yet been a trial. The issue is still being litigated and UMG takes the position that ultimately it will prevail.
It's a little ironic because the person recording the video has a copyright interest in the video that is being arbitrarily limited. Bah.

You do realise that all of this post is jibberish to us, lawyerman ?
