If you order from the don'tthink site:
http://www.dontthinkmovie.com/
it says this:
In addition, a special Limited Edition 10" Book format (DVD/CD) containing exclusive images is set for release on April 10th, 2012.
But when you actually order it it says:
Chemical Brothers - DONT THINK DVD & Bonus CD & Large Casebound Book Limited Edition
Release date: 26/03/12 £29.99
Chemical Brothers - DONT THINK Blu-Ray & Bonus CD
Release date: 26/03/12 £16.99
What is it? And where has de limited cd-edition gone to?

i'm confused with the german amazon-store. has the 'normal' edition (cd+dvd) for 22€, the bluray edition (cd+bluray) for 20€, a "Don T Think" edition (double-cd + dvd) for 25€ and a 'i don't know - normal?' edition* (cd+dvd) for 42€. none of them is marked as the 10"-book edition, but in the descriptions it says the "Don T Think" and the 'i don't know - normal?' are both the 10"-book. i think i have to ask amazon what is what.
*has the same name like the 'normal' edition and only the description is a bit different. thats why i don't know how to call it.

And one click earier, here. the same first version is €12.99 (regional typo?)
And German Amazon tells me that there is a €24.99 version comprising cd/dvd and a 28p book (10"). Steep price compared to the British...
And why the frog does each track have that "live in japan" stamp? What else could it be?!

edit:
ok, checking amazon.com and copy the ASIN for this CLICK (i think this one is 'the' limited edition) and paste it at german amazon shows this one CLICK. 42€ + 20€ for the bluray...
... but it is pre ordered

Nah, that's by no means the real deal. 42 bucks are way toooo overpriced. I wouldn't pre-order that package and am waiting for late March instead..
Or wait, it could be that LARGE casebound bundle that also on dontthink.com, though... We'll see.
Anyways, I think this one is more reasonably priced.

So here's a recap:
the site:
http://www.bol.com/n...requestid=63430 (it Dutch so you need to translate)
The emails:
the distributer kept changing the info about the release. The site have updated it 3 times. 1 when the release was anounced, 2 when the 'normal' releases were final, 3 when the limited releases were final. They confimerd I ordered the 10" book (26cm x 26cm) voor € 42,-.
the releases:
this site has the best overview of the releases I found so far: http://www.bva.org.uk/node/1802392
I you search the BAR codes you can find the release you are looking for. The release for the 10" book seemt to be this on
Quote
Distributor name EMI UK
Availability Retail / Rental
Release Date 26/03/2012
Trade Catalogue Number P 6027779
Barcode 5099960277794
so there is;
- CD/DVD Limited edition (I think a similar releases to Further or Daft Punks Alive 2007 in shape and size and how the disks are stored)
- DVD/CD (I think a similar release as Prodigy's Worlds on Fire)
- Bluray/CD (I think a similar release as Prodigy's Worlds on Fire bluray)
- DVD/CD 10" Limited book edition (I think similar to Prodigy's Invaders Must Die book in size, not in pages (only 28) but with a dvd and cd)
Strange to see amazon.co.uk only has 3 versions on their website and they don't have the 10" book version. bol.com has 5 versions, I have no idea what the 5th one could be.
It seems al releases have the same release date being march 26th

This looks like the best deal for Aussies, they remove the VAT - 10" book is 28 quid delivered!
http://www.dvd.co.uk...emical&type=ALL
Although postage for the 10" book is 2.99 pounds but postage for the bluray is 3.99 pounds?!?

I want the limited edition because, well, it's a limited edition and won't be around forever. But I'm finding it hard to resist the awesome power of blu-ray.
It's a first world problem, I know. But why must this decision be so difficult!
