I'd put money on them playing it at the WMC. probably a little bit after then you'll hear it on the bbc radio, then one or two will go on ebay.... followed by a 1000. then bootlegs of course

Maybe they will not call it EBW anymore.

Because everybody out there knows allready that EBW are chemical brothers tracks.

Maybe they will rename it to:

acoustic peace symphony. (APS)

Or something like that.

It would be sad if they decided not to call these particular works Electronic Battle Weapons anymore. It would be like breaking a tradition, ditching a Chemical trademark and I don't want to see the Chems rename them. Electronic Battle Weapon - such a cool name, don't you think? Has a fan-worthy buzz about them, don't let some bootlegging wankers ruin the good name of Electronic Battle Weapon!!

I'd love to see them used as battle weapons, they used to have musicians back in medieval times to try to scare the enemy, imagine facing an army blasting out 'Don't Stop the Rock' at like 5000W of power!

It's great you mentioned actually music as being a battle weapon.

I remember when there was that whole shitstorm in Panama and the US was trying to drive Noriega out. The army got a tip that Noriega hated rock n'roll. So, the US rolled in with vans that had super soundsystems, parked them, and blared rock music for hours on end.

No kidding, it wasn't long before he gave up! Not that music was the sole reason he raised the white flag but it might've been the straw the broke the camel's back. X-D

I heard from somebody I know in Berlin.

That during the separation of Berlin by "the Wall".

The soldiers in West Berlin (US and GB ) did the same to the East Berlin soldiers (USSR).

Just to fuck with their minds.

Maybe C-row has a more info about this.

Some months I ago I heard the following story:

David Hasselhoff visisted Berlin and went to the museum that showed the complete story about the knock down of the berlin wall.

When some reporter asked him what he thought of the exposition.

He told the reporter:

" I don't understand why I'm not in mentioned in the whole story "

" I was very important in realization the whole thing "

Funny isn't it? That David thinks that he was the center of the world in the 80's.

I still do! Not in a gay way, just for the fact that he was Michael Knight.

Michael Knight, A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.
