There is a sample on this track no ? Just at the beginning, I can't remember where I heard this sound, maybe a Basement Jaxx track ?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I know pretty much all the class Jaxx tunes, but the beginning of Beasts in the Basement does not sound like a sample from any of them. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is a sample?

Chemical brothers - horsepower
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

One of the finer mash-ups I've heard:

That's quite a song! May I ask what's nostalgic about it to you?

Mmm, I´m obssesed with BajoFondo Tango Club. The work of Gustavo Santaolalla is so great...
All the argentinian stuff brings me good memories of someone I lost time ago...

@Whitenoise: I almost like Ring Road a lot. Some of the lyrical phrasing doesn't work, though--hanging on the middle of words makes things sound forced. It's interesting, but it's difficult to enjoy.

Now listening to St. Germain - Boulevard. It was produced back in '95, and is the predecessor to Tourist. Unfortunately, it's about half as exciting and interesting. Dare I say minimalist?
