I have a big descion to make. Choosing wich High School i shall attend, and i've come to seek advice from my all-knowing brothers and sisters of chemistry =P.
In Sweden High Schools vary very much from eachother, you can choose between lot's of different types of schools. Their is two types of schools that interests me more then the other ones. And that is "Nature", quite a lot studying with real good possibilities afterwards to attend universitys and so on.
The other type of school is "Media", not that much studying more practical and fun course's but not so big possibilities afterwards.
To put it simply i have to choose between my biggest interest, music production, or a good education in other subjects. I'm really in to music and feel that i am going to work with it in one way or another, but on the other hand i don't want to shut any doors behind me (you get the point).
I know that High School is'nt the end of the world but it's allways good to hear others opinion.
p.s you have to excuse me for my strange english, i really can't think well when i'm tired

As long as you are going to school, you aren't losing out on any possibilities. Stick with what interests you - even though you're young and since you're only in high school, it sounds like there's probably some freedom to change your mind if you decide music isn't what you want to do as a career. You're young, so time is on your side. Have fun and get experience and learn something that'll keep your interest!
You're really lucky to be in the kind of school system you're in. I wish the public sector of education here in the U.S. had the types of options your country has - there'd be less school drop-outs and more kids working to expand their horizons in areas of interest early on, at least giving them a foundation for their futures with the intent of them securing a career in the future.

be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

ofcourse man get a good education in other subjects. Music is always gonna be there but if your base in other subjects like science and math is not strong you will be lost having an intelligent conversation with somebody. Trust me music is not everything and a lot of people don't even enjoy it. Does that mean they are not smart enough to understand ? No they do something else which interests them. Like whirly said, you are young and have the rest of your life to invest in music but education (in these modern times) is not only crucial but a necessity in order to succed.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have choosen the "Nature" high school. Not because i feel like working in that area, but i do want to gain knowledge in it =P. I feel like i'm missing it out if i don't, and i will always be able to make music in my free time. Besides, i have choosen Nature with music profile, wich means we will have some music in school, mostly singing and playing wich i suck at, but i will do my best to learn it.
