I think Groove Armada's new song is not that good , to be honest.
8O Really? I think it's very cool, alot better than some of their other singles, like My Friend for example...
Do it Again is still growing, but it's very hard to get past the r+b bassline and the "yeah, uh-huh" vocals :? Love everything else about the track, even the build up that supposedly doesn't go anywhere - it continues to build after the bass comes back in, we're just so used to a build up having an end point where the bass comes back that we miss the rest of it. You'd certainly get the full effect of the build up on the dancefloor though I'm sure.

wrote this on the last page, dunno why it doesn't show anymore :
why can't the chems make a "simple" catchy DANCE tune? Have they signed somewhere that EVERY single track they make will be asbsolutely THE epitomy of production and everything mammoth and einstein? Kamon folks, u don't like it, it's ok, listen to something else meanwhile, like I keep saying I'm pretty sure this is not representative of the whole album? If it IS, even i'd be disappointed as hell.
Even I love and want very HUGE mammoth signature Chems tunes - that rip your soul apart and make u feel glad you love the very best in electronic music.Even I can't digest the fact that the whole album will be as simplistic and basic as this tune.
But from experience, I don't think it'll happen with the Chems - they'r too brilliant to make an average shallow album. But meanwhile, yes they have a shallow nice dance tune out, and I'm sure I'll absolutely go nuts if I hear it in a club.

Welcome back redout! I hope the new album will bring back more ole school folks! Btw, where exactly does it appear on the set? I'd like to check out their edit - I hope we get to hear the full version on some show soon! Hope Ed drops us a warning or something, at least if another new song's being played somewhere.
Btw, what's the Tong - Chems connection? How come he gets to always preview the new Chems? And iggy's really his bro? NICE!

This is nothing compared to when Golden Path was heard, talk about ugly, don't know who here saw it but everyone was really for or against it! Luckily when GYH came out everyone loved that and the aggression settled... :)

After having listened to it a few times, here is what I think about "Do It Again". I didn't read the previous page.
Good single, far better than "Galvanize". It has some very good parts mostly the ones without voice. It's not really a dancing tune, but it's not exactly what I expect from the Chemical Brothers. I am sure the bass line will blow everything in future concerts.
What I learnt from last Chemical Brothers' albums is not to judge the whole album according to the first single, but I am more confident now than I was before "Push The Button" was released.
