Hm. I think these are 8 minutes of repetitive boredom. There are one or two ok-ish elements and that's it. Ok in a club environment maybe. It's one of those tracks, that don't really bother you on the dancefloor but also don't really do something special at the same time. Gap filler.

So, can a pop song be considered a dance track too then? And what would these guys say?

it's better than either chems tune on that list,
or at least more of a 'classic'
Brave post. On one hand, I see your rationale when considering the ultimate dance track of the last 20 years. It was groundbreaking, underground, popular, influencial and highly sampled. Our very own Brothers used it as a tool. On the other hand...C'MON DUDE, ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
I gave my vote to HBHG becasue I think the Chemical Brothers are grossly under-rated and have shown consistantly talented work over that 20 year span, moreso than any of the others. They get my vote.

Saturate is a dance track, I don't think T&E have put it out (especially on EBW, vinyl only, for club plays) for any other reason. What would eddychemical say?

I was expecting there to be many dance tracks I can't stand (like My My My by Armand Van Helden or something) but I could only see one, the Thin White Duke remix of What Else is There? In that respect I think it's a good list although there are a couple I would class as being on the more chilled-out side of things - the Air and Massive Attack tracks (as good as they are).
