were can i get samples of chem brothers tracks? the site doesn't work at school.

sneaker takes a look at chems trivia. part 152: base 6



you find samples apear from the weirdest sources, like the beginning of base 6:



"chemical brothers, brothers in arm, time has come...."



this was taken from the uk tv program scrapheap challenge, or junkyard wars as it was known in the usa. there were 2 teams funnily enough they were called the chemical brothers and brothers in arms. i think in this particular episode they had to make some kinda cannon. if i remember the chemical brothers won. when i hear the presenter say those imortal words that start base 6 i nearly fell of my chair!!!

Doesn't it also have the disc scratching noises from IBIA to Galaxy Bounce transition from the album? Either way, both those moments sound amazing. Could not believe what I was hearing when I first heard Base6 in full (need to get it on CD!). :D

I think that the main sound on TPPR (i couldn't describe it) is taken from Norwegian Wood from the Beatles

I've tried to make the sample by myself, and definitely, they sampled Norwegian Wood, just listen to that :
