Rize is markedly slower and more hip hop orientated than recent Chemical offerings.

we'll know about that soon. think it is a shorter tune to be put on the b-side of the CD to follow chart rules. ebw7 should be on the vinyl, then
love is all.

Some of the auctions state the b-side as rize up, I suppose a reference to the whole 'z' thing on galvanize. I wonder if it's a remix?

i know what you mean. here we are calling the tune 'galvanise' and it turns out is called 'galvaniZe'. looking at a english dictionary you can spell it either way. but that 'IZE' stinks of american english. i think im gonna write to my MP about this!!

Taken from the Cambridge English Dictionary: galvanize, UK USUALLY galvanise

Little things like this really piss me off, it's all part of a big take over by the american culture of this country, I want England back :'( Get rid of the ban from fox hunting, close all McDonalds and replace them with traditional pubs (none of that trendy wine bar shite), kill children who tell me to talk to their hand and their common response is 'whatever' :x

It's probably due to Q-Tip on vocals. He sings it, he's American, so they use the American spelling.

it is just a song title, rize up sounds like it could be basis of galvanize or maybe just a instrumenal version.

I think Sneaker's assumption about Studio K/The Sunshine Underground kind of relationship is correct.

I think making all these assumptions about PTB is pretty stupid. We should all get the facts right and hope the new album kicks ass. What if Rise up is totally different, what if it's Hardcore techno mixed into galvanize. with chems you never know ???

why?? we have been making assumptions about the album the whole time they have been in the studio!! my reasoning about the relationship is cos we know rize up is a 'slower and more hip hop orientated', much like galvanize. plus the fact of the 'ize' endings. i'm just making an educated guess on the reack, nout wrong with that!!
