Have you been to the Website recently? Go to either Hanna, Erik, or Marissa's character page and click on the little icon that pops up in the bottom right corner.

Erik and Marissa's are kinda stupid, but Hanna's is really interesting, if you dig.

That site is so cool. Took me a while to find Hanna's unlocked dl.

Aha! I really liked the oldschool fairy-tale theme for Hanna's ARG - but you're right, the other two were pretty dumb, and Marissa's pretty much boiled down to "search Wiegler's office" anyway.
Maybe it's just because I'm not acquainted with the soundtrack yet, but what's the really slow-moving one that plays while you're checking out Hanna's things?

I found it, but I didn't spend much time looking around. Anything interesting there?

Whywhywhy??!! I don't get it. A 1000 albums pressed, 1 being given away by Craveonline, impossible to win off course, no other store to be found and no cd to buy either. I don't get it. This is going to be the most rare/exclusive Chemical Brothers item.

edit: Craveonline isn't the only one with this competition. There are at least 5 US (!!!) sites who have the same "sign up to our Twitter account to win" competition. Isn't Joe Wright British, aren't The Chemical Brothers too? This is studio execs at work. But hey, eddychemical is a massive twitter with loads of followers, maybe he'll win one

It is written nowhere that it's US only so I entered all the contests with my e-mails. If they don't precise it's us only before, then they can't refuse to give the price if you win.

I think because the movie is being released in the States (and it's being promoted quite heavily here) that is why there are so many US promotions. The big test is always opening weekend to see how it's received. I would hope that if the movie goes over well here, there's a chance it might be promoted in other regions...?

Honestly I very rarely sign up for these contests and haven't done so in ages so you won't be in competition with me. I'm just throwing this out there but if you need to use a US address.........

I saw it earlier today and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was in one of those awesome theatres with the nice new seats, 4k projector, and surprisingly great 7.1, and the movie just really roared. The soundtrack was quite solid throughout; some of the themes tired a bit here and there, for me, but overall they just really nailed it.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

There needs to a spoiler thread.

Going back to the first post in this thread... did you catch the blatant hermaphrodite reference in the film? ;)

I did, I nearly yelled it out in the theatre!

What a great movie, just got back. It had a lot of character and soul to it. The music was pretty massive!

Hahaha yeah, it was hard not to giggle. I so wanted to say "Oh my gawd, it's the Dope Girl!"

After the week I had, it was such a nice escape to go to the movies. Sure for us being Chems fans, the movie is a LOT about the music. The score the Chems did was riveting and just awesome with the film. That said I was pleasantly surprised to see music play such an integral role in the movie. There was the Moroccan music, the Spanish music, that evil guy whistling, the bit with In The Hall Of The Mountain King, and the great little scene with the family listening to David Bowie... I got the feeling that music in and of itself was almost a character, in the way.

Soirse Ronin is an amazing little actress! What a charming young girl. She made that film and played the part of killing machine and little girl lost with so much depth and soul. It was nice, a breath of fresh air to see a girl so innocent and pretty without being made out to be this sexy young object.

Beginning of the Film
Mostly enjoyable to learn why Hanna and her dad were in the forest. I like how her dad was making her speak different languages so that she'll be 'ready'! First 45 min were good!

Middle of the Film
Fights scenes were ok, Hanna traveling with that family was a little boring. Hanna's character kept my interest but was waiting for something to happen outside Hanna'a character!

Ending of the Film
Reunited and it feels so.....bad! The confrontations between all main characters didn't have strong finishes on their exits.

Story
I liked how Hanna came to be throughout the film. a girl with no knowledge of the outside world, but to only find out that she was an 'abnormal' killing machine! Rest of the material that was written just made me eat more popcorn...which is not a good or bad thing

Score

The Chems had some good pairings for their music to fit the scenes! Hannas theme ( wheres the sun is setting) bahnhof rumble (fight scene)
All in all, the film matched up well with the audio!

Summary
A decent but good film! Could of trimmed the middle of the film a bit. Action sequences could've been more intense. A fair presentable film!

Score
7.5 out of 10

Have you guys checked out the 'international' version of the website? Its a bit different with the design and how its displayed with games and other goodies that are 'locked' etc. compared to the local one which I assume is the american one.

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.
