Heard it via the iTunes pass, wow! The song is amazing, I knew right away at coachella it was a chems track when you hear that synth making the sweeping scream noise. Though I thought it was two tracks since it changes a few minutes in, a lot of people probably did. But the bass is king.

Now you know why it's an essential must-play at The Bowl.

Is there a way to get this track without buying the album in iTunes? I already have the CD/DVD ... I want the bonus track!
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

The first six minutes or so are one of my favorite Chemical moments ever. I know I've said it a couple times already, but I would have loved a track that was just that, without the "proxy" ending. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I think they just would've been better separate.

B-side? For what, when there is no physical singles anymore for CB...

Import one of the ridiculously expensive Japanese versions of Further? ;-)

I like Don't Think but IMO it's the weakest on the Further era tracks. Love the second part of it. I'm glad it's not on the album.

Haha, nice gif!
Yeah, I think DT is definitely their best "Dance" track since EBW7/Believe/Swiper.
Things I love about this song:
The Bassline is massive! And it sort of splits into seperate basslines between L/R at points to amazing effect.
The Beats are top notch! They make my head bob.
The vocals—both the abstract ones, and then the actual "Don't think—Just let it flow" vocal.
The rising synth part during the first rising breakdown. WOW, this pumps me up.
The "After After Sunglasses" part—it is SO evil/badass sounding!
During the last few minutes, I really like the weird textures to the synths, along with the "BWOO——BWOO bwoo-bwoo" synth.

Haha, goodness I'm such a nerd when it comes to this song

I've been trying to figure out why Don't Think feels so familiar (aside from the speculation/dj sets) and today it finally clicked. The first and second 'chapters' that make up Don't Think kind of remind me of Freak of the Week a little bit. Not so much in sound as those two songs are completely different games. But in terms of how it feels it was pieced together. Freak of the Week sounds like it's made up of different pieces, and has more than 1 part. And the same with Don't Think.

The 2nd half of Don't Think has a funky groove that reminds me in some ways of the funkiness that's in The Duke. Again, totally different game than Don't Think - I'm just going off of impressions here of what I'm being reminded of.

I think this is a solid track, it's good loud - but I wasn't 100% wowed the first time I heard it. Weird, huh? ;) It's probably because the song is in 2 parts that's throwing me off. Anyway - I'm not saying I dislike Don't Think, but I'm still digesting Further. Don't Think is a great track and carries on the tradition of great Chemical B-sides. In my opinion I'm OK with Don't Think not being on the album, because the way that song is on it's own, it would have been an odd fit with the rest of Further.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I keep seeing the 'Don't Think' title here on the board and I keep thinking 'Don't Speak' by No Doubt.......
Aww crap.

Can't turn this track off. Turn it up loooooooooooud and wheeee there it goes. I agree with whirly: to me this sounds a lot like a 1-4 EBW in construction. Focus on really bitchin' sounds and changing structures and like 0 radio appeal.

Also, what is the vocal sample? It sounds like the voice of 'k os' to me, but it's so brief that it could be anybody.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to mix don't think in between horse power and swoon, probably easier when the bonus unmixed versions are out, nudge nudge (not that I think Tom or Ed really want me tampering with their work). If I don't make it back alive, I would like to say it was great serving with you.

I feel exactly what Whirly wrote - it's a great song, but not my favourite b-side, and it's great it's not on Further. I love the second part way more.

I really need to hear this track .. A$21 on iTunes or A$50 for the Japanese CD/DVD ... I went for the Japanese CD/DVD.

Apparently there are visuals for Don't Think on this DVD too, or so the guy I bought it off reckons. But I see there are only 8 videos on iTunes. Anyone seen visuals for Don't Think?

Nope. But now I think we'll all be waiting with bated breath until you get your copy...
