Hey forum admins. Great great work on the website and the forum ! But there's only one thing I'd like to see : a chat or a shoutbox. It would be useful for when there's a new track being played on Radio 1, or stuff like that, or just to chat with whoever is connected.

If anyone has other ideas...

It would be nice to elect a forum Moderator in addition to the ones we already have. There is quite a bit threads that need to be moved around and whatnot, and it would be nice to have a spirited moderator at hand.

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

A quick reply box, like how we used to post in the old forum. So you don't have go to another page to post something that's only going to be a sentence or two long.

I am here... I am using my original whirlygirl account because I've missed it and was sort of forced into re-registering the whirly account during the last revamp.

I would like to have my whirly and whirlygirl accounts merged but don't want to go asking for stuff just yet.

Isn't there a quick reply? I could have sworn there was a quick reply feature this morning. Maybe I was just tired. :P

Anyway, not sure who will be getting mod duties this time around. I tried logging into the old moderator account but it's been disabled or perhaps eradicated.

And what about all the lost post counts? I was nearing the 100 mark when we switched.

There is a quick reply, but it seems to come and go with each topic. Possibly a few bugs still in the system.

What I would like to see is a previous discussions thread/tab when you hit add reply so that you can remember what your trying to talk about rather then just htting quote all the time. It's a little much but it is an idea.

The quick reply is available in the New Topic/Forums like "Live 2010" and "Further". Probably due to the dated data its not available in the older Topic/Forums.

How about the Member Title option? I can see some people have changed theirs, yet I've searched and even asked Ben_j but still can't see it. I'll slap myself in the face really hard if I'm being blind Posted Image

About the only thing I'd like changed is post counts, because I think I was nearing 500... I actually don't really remember.
I LOVE:

  • being able to post picture/videos
  • attaching files (really helpful for posting our tracks!)
  • Finally having avatars
  • Being able to bold and do lists, etc.!

Now I have to figure out what my avatar will be!

I think it has something to do with post-count.

On some other forums I frequent, they give you this option after you achieve a certain number of posts.

follow same instructions as member title except after when you click on "Edit My Profile"

  • Click "Change Photo" Tab
  • Choose an image file from your harddrive
  • save changes

You can see the "Change Photo" Tab in the picture attachment I provided previously
