Don't mind at all. It's vienna, next to d.c.

So I just received my "Ninja Tune : 20 years of beats and pieces" book.
It's just soooo beautiful. 200 pages about an English electronic music label, with a lot of it being wondefrul artworks and pictures, mostly made by Strictly Kev, and the rest telling the wonderful story of the label and some of it's most notable albums.
Really if you have £14 to spend (Iguanapunk ?), rush to the Ninja Tune Shop and get the Ninja Tune XX vol 1 + 2 CDs + this book for only £14. It's the best deal you could get !

I picked that up when I was that direction in October/November. They had it at rough trade. read through it on the plane home. nice coffee table book.

Awww... Ben_J! ::hugs:: I'm sorry to hear that, brother. I got dumped last year. No fun. :-( Hold tight... Hopefully you'll get her back.

No that wouldn't work, and that wouldn't be respectful for her.

I wouldn't........but she probably dump me! Then I ask myself the same question that I asked when I was in a terminated relationship....'What in the f*ck did I do wrong!

I've been already been dumped twice in my life, so I have no plans right now to settle down. Just being selective on dating puts me in position where I don't have to put my true feelings and emotions (and some crap on the table) as in regular relationship.

Hmm! Kind of like hookers...they don't care about your crap that goes on in your life. They just want to do the dirty deed, and get away from you as far as possible!

Well, I don't know the specifics of the breakup, but seriously--keep success in mind. Keep focused on what you know you want to do with your life, and who knows, maybe you'll end up with someone else for a little while and your ex will take notice.

I feel rather lucky at the moment. I am staring a lot of hard work in the face right now and fully prepared to do it, and I'm already being rewarded for the hard work I have already done.

Coachella to come.

@Phil: I forgot to mention the specifics of the room I got. Hopefully I'll be able to offer some crash space for any Chemical wanderers who end up at Coachella.

I almost dozed off on that vid!

That's not saying the vids bad, but It was rather relaxing looking at all the sealife and just concentrating on the depthness of the water. The State Were In was a good choice for this dive! Cheers for another mind-melting vid.

I was in bed watching this , so I got too comfortable! Long day today, crappy day at work, you know how it goes!

I assume you also do water photography as well... right?

Glad you guys enjoyed my videos. If I didn't post them here I'd probably only get about 2 people watching them. I mainly take them for my family. They always ask what I saw, this way I can show them. Pure hobby stuff, shooting video with a still camera.

Nice dives, Krisper. Thanks once again for sharing.

Was supposed to talk on the phone to a partner at Holland & Knight today, but I got a no-show. Damnit. I also forgot to confirm yesterday. :-( So much about the business world that I need to remember.

Trying to get a summer internship in D.C.

On the bright side, I just made myself a scramble with mushrooms and onions, sauteed with truffle oil. It was excellent. I do need to work on my skills with the skillet, though...

Getting over being sick.

Enjoying Battlestar Galactica.

The new girlfriend is still new, even six months in. Not bad.

I keep watching YouTube videos of Escape Velocity. Dayamn.

You had the plague too, Pooter?

I'm still not 100%. I caught this sinus infection that Connor and everyone at my office were dropping like flies from. I was practically dead to the world last Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday I was feeling better, but Sunday night I started feeling a bit meh again. Now it's all an annoying post nasal drip and little cold that's settled in my chest. It's times like this where I am so glad I don't smoke anymore. When I was a heavy smoker, getting over a simple chest cold was a weeks long ordeal - I would sit there at my desk and hack uncontrollably, or I'd wake up in the middle of the night and I'd hack so hard it felt like my lungs were going to launch right through my throat.

Speaking of smoking. I'm coming up on nearly 2 years smoke free but lately I've been jonsing really, really freakin hard. I'm not one of those militant ex-smokers - I actually love the smell of a lit match hitting the tobacco, and the smell of cigarette smoke actually smells somewhat comforting and pleasant (my mom smokes like a chimney and I smoked for 22 years) - so I can generally be around people that are smoking and it doesn't get me all fired up. But lately it's been so hard for me to be around smoking, and I sort of feel bad because there's this cool woman I work with who smokes, and we usually take our breaks together and shoot the shit. So I haven't been going on my breaks because I'm so tempted to just ask for a cigarette. I know I can't do it, because quitting this last time was pure agony for me and anyone within a 3 mile blast radius of my easily agitated wrath. But it's still hard sometimes... lately I don't know what it is that's causing thie freakish desire to light up. I've been having dreams where I'm smoking, and I wake up thinking "oh shit everyone's going to smell stale smoke on me". I also started watching Mad Men too, which isn't helping. It's a good show but gosh dammit now, pretty much the entire plot revolves around fucking smoking!

And that's my rant of the day!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I work as the product manager for our company's Google Apps based messaging service (we have one of the largest partnerships with Google worldwide). I am working with our marketing agency currently on the product demo videos and realized I had to register and use a dummy customer domain for my videos - this name will be visible in all the product screenshots.
I just registered KDB Chemicals Pvt. Ltd (kdbchemicals.com) :)
