I am a bit pissed off. I don't feel like typing the story so i will copy paste an email i just wrote to Mips :

Hey mooms!

So remember i told u about this colleague ( several times ) who is really fucking arrogant ?! I call her E.

Not only i think so but half the company. She says things in a really arrogant way, and it seems that she feels like she's better than everybody else.

Today a mistake has been made by my colleague and as i work close with this colleague really close E came to me. it was no problem at all what happend - but the way she said it just really irritated me. Instead of talking about the mistake once she kept on going on about it. In her arrogant voice. So i felt myself exploding. I didnt explode tho, i was very diplomatic, but i said to her " Sorry Ellen, but i don't really like the way you say things sometimes. I know you prob don't mean it that way but things you say can come across a bit unfriendly" and than offcourse she wanted example's. But its a lot of little things in how she says things. She said "You are the first one saying this to me " and i said " Well, others might be THINKING it, i'm just the only one who's not afraid to speak her mind "

Anyway - she was not very happy. She goes ( and she was right in that, i told her that also ) " Why didn't u tell me those other things immediatly" ( Because i'm knew in the company maybe ?! " And than she goes " Well i have stuff to say too but i won't say it now " And i think WTF! How childish! so i say " Ellen, this is EXACTLY the kind of stuff that irritates me. If u have something to say about me than say it, i can handle it " and than she goes " it's not necesarry " and i think than why did u tell me u have stuff to say too in the first place ?!

Anyway, this woman is 10 years older than me, she should know better.I was very diplomatic mips! But i CAN"T just let it go like other people can. i'm very sensetive to arrogant people, cause i am the biggest hippie there is. And i don't like it when people treat me like i'm less than them just because she's executive director and i'm the receptionist.

This is al my life like this. I am always the only one to speak my mind cause others are too afraid. Well , fuck it. I won't have people fucking me around like that. I treat EVERYBODY with the same, equal respect and i expect that back.

So after my colleague Patricia who i work closely with took me apart in an office and she said " You need to blow off some steam" hehehe. She said i had every right to say what i said and that i said it in a very mature, good way. She heard everything, you see.

Anyway. I had to tell you cause i was a bit pissed off. I wonder if this only made things worse between us or if it actually helped. Whichever way, i spoke my mind when nobody else did and i think i did well.

Ok thats it. Gotta get back to work ;-)

GRRRR.

Raise youre hand if you don't like arrogant people either!

Aww Jeans - give my best to Luna and I'll give your best to Eric who is now father to a 9+ lbs. baby boy named Ian.

That sucks about being put in a tough spot at work. I'm so passive and had to deal with so many people that see me as a pushover (which admittedly, I am) that when I finally did say something, they were a bit surprised to see a tailbone explode out my backside. Not the best way to go about things but it made people back off and I got a bit more respect for what it's worth. I guess the only thing you can do is just wait a little bit and see how things go between you and this other person. If things get a bit weird around the office you may need to be the one to extend the olive branch, so to speak. Sometimes the best working relationships on the job are the ones that were born of the frustration and tension that was there in the beginning.

Well it seems to me this E has some selfconfidence issues she can't handle properly. It often a sign of uncertainness..

Being sick sucks the big one, and it's kicking my ass. I knew I should've gotten a flu shot...

The codeine cough syrup is nice, though.

"Dave's not here, man."

Anyone remember this? Guess not...

Ed's posts and texts are getting so short, you can barely tell what he's saying anymore. I blame Lily Allen :)

Thanks for the We Are The Pumpkin, Bosco!!

Kids, do me a favor and get your flu shots this year. Do it now. Me and the fam have been down with a nasty fuckin' virus that's had us flat on our backs for the past week. I haven't had my ass kicked by the flu this hard in years. Years, I say.

K, I'm off. It's just too much effort trying to type right now...
