They were in consideration for the job but ultimately bowed out (probably after getting a better idea of what they'd actually be scoring).

Well this is one theory,
rumor has it that when the director actually heard some of Tom's only work, he outrightly rejected his initial offer.

The best way is to simply stay on topic right?

In that case: The trailer looks nice and the movie probably will be an adrenaline driven thriller with a humouristic touch. I can imagine a nice, tense CB score with high bpm tracks during chases and psychedelic stuff during the magic parts. Too bad that it somehow didn't work out between the Chems and the movie peoples. I would've loved another nice score! (and another exclusive zip file from white noise with rarities that only he can retrieve)

hahaha yeah I felt like a hypocrite writing that but I'm a new man these days. Peace and love and all that shite. It was fun arguing with people back in the day but now I know a lot of people here personally and we're a small community I feel like I should be embracing our brothers rather than enraging our brothers.

Yeah, the trailer looks like it might be a fun bit of Hollywood hokum. Decent cast. I'll probably see this, and of course a Chems soundtrack would have made it even more attractive.

Now You See Me - wasn't bad but not amazing. The ending wasn't as jaw dropping as I'd hoped for. Three stars.
