I'll try this out for sure, I liked the self titled album.
Also saw a disc called Hold Your Colour by Pendelum - didn't have time so heard just the beginning - sounded nice - anybody have any dope on this act, cd? Good enough to get?

Sorry guys, but I hate Pendulum.
I love drum'n'bass, but NOT Pendulum. I'm into darker, techy stuff. Like Dom & Roland!
Its fair to say a lot of drum 'n' bass fans like yourself don't like Pendulum as they're a bit "soft". It's the same thing with house fans and Basement Jaxx, or maybe Daft Punk (leave it you lot!!)

Orbital - Times Fly (Slow)
I really like this track, the melody sticks in your head for ages. It's pretty trippy stuff as far as music goes, there's loads going on all over it, but it manages to be a track rather than just a meandering mess. The way the complexity is arranged reminds me of the Chems quite a lot, Orbital really were fantastic producers

Anti-Nazi Mix
I'm not a huge fan of the album in general, but 'Slam' and especially 'Hold Your Colour' do the trick for me quite a bit. I do think it's a decent album, though. Accessible, well-produced, well-written tracks. Just lack that dirty, grimy element a bit.

You know guys, I could do something really mean right now. I could compare some of you to those kids I know that think "techno" is cool, that don't disinguish between any of it. Trance, House, Acid, Hard Techno, it's all "techno", it's all the same and it's totally sweet when the top 40 dj happens to play "Sandstorm" at a school dance. They're attracted to novelty of this "techno" and unable to realize that it's shit because they have no perspective on what they're listening to, just a curiosity in this new kind of music that makes it fun for them. And in that way, go on, have your fun with Pendulum, I don't care if you like it. Go ahead. But I DO care when you act like an asshole and throw a big fuck you to all the guys who you know have heard one hundred times more dnb than you have and happen to prefer something else. I'm not saying I'm right. I'm just saying that you shouldn't personally offend me because I have a different opinion that seems to threaten your fun. If I'm completely mistaken, sorry, but I wasn't the first offender.
