Any ideas guys?

It may be repeated over, but it goes so well one of my fave tracks on WATN!

Love the base line and the Harps in the background, it's such an uplifting piece! Hope it gets a live showing when I see Tom n Ed!

I wish I knew who the lovely voice was. It sounds a bit like Beth Orton, the voice being gentle and whispy - but we probably would have heard about it by now if she loaned her vocals to a Chems track.

Guess we'll have to wait for the liner notes.... (or lack thereof to start really searching, hehe...)

it's a 60's sample it sounds like. If you listen to it at the right volume (LOUD) you'll here some kinda psychedelic droning guitars, gives a nice clash with the 80s riffs and bass line

Yeah, I'm not sure who it is!! It's a very original vocal, I mean it sounds very early 90's old school - ish, but it sounds to me like one of those vocals that has been around for years and that everyone knows, if you know what I mean! It's got wow factor, I love it to bits, can't wait to buy the real cd and check out the sleeve notes!

Free jerk chicken to anyone who guesses right on who the voice is!!! hehe. I guess we will have to wait til judgment day! So much will be revealed at that time and I'm real excited!

Definitely hear what you mean Biff and VMan. There is a familiarity to vocal sample. That's the thing for me with a lot of Chems tunes, there's always something in their songs that feel familiar. I can't exactly place it or explain why it feels familiar, but it just is. Kind of like deja vu, but not really. Blah. Can't explain and need more coffee!

Den_B, I think Jeanie might agree with you. Or at least her mother will!

Ha-ha, just finished work, and been playing the song over in my head, which helped this overly hot Friday afternoon!

Not as good as hearing it though, so I'm putting it on now ;-0!

Yeah I agree Whirly, they all have some sort of Deja Vu about them, but not in a 'Samey' sort of way, in a very good way.

It sounds like a combo of Tracey Thorn and Beth Orton.

sounds like United States of America, this 60's band that the chems played a track of on breezeblock. I know it's not her, unless there some b-side to them they found.

might be, I don't recall.

The one from '99. Anyway here's a sample that gives me the vibe:

HAHA oh my god, they have a song on their album "American Way of Love" that's divided into 3 sections (a suite) and the last one is called "Love is All" funny seeing that here

It sounds a teeny bit like the chick who sings on the Orbital track "Funny Break", but more gentle.

prochem - they played a very raw different sounding mix of temptation on that show - i've been wondering since what version is that - even Bernard's vocals sound very different from the album version - I think ed n tom bummed some unreleased mix when they were recording out of control.
