Biff I can't forsee you staying at home - that venue holds thousands of people!

I'm at work right now and can't check ticketbastard site. This was just the presale today... There might be decent seats available (other than nosebleed) for purchase later on...?

Hello, did anyone manage to get tickets in the terrace boxes, garden boxes or super seats today? I got 2 normal seats but couldnt get any of the other type?? We are there on honeymoon so dont mind paying extra if we can get the terrace seats, i will then sell the normal ones.

Ah yes, the great ticket dilema.Where are they for, will they be good view, will I be beside who I wanna be beside?I feel your pain guys. One thing about the nosebleed section, you will get to truly appreciate whatever light/laser/exploding paintballs show the Bros have lined up this time.Especially for those of you who have been before and had the whole up the front experience already. Both options are great in their own way no?

I've seen the Chems do their live thing from various distances of the stage. First time I saw them I was near the back (lots of room to dance without getting elbowed!). The closest I got was 5 rows deep from the stage. It was brilliant each time, though the hardest in my opinion was being in the middle, because everyone from the back is trying to pack in and the front isn't budging at all. All in all the bass rumbles through the soles of your feet no matter where you are because when the Chems are playing and when you're in the vicinity, that puts you in the blast radius of their sound.

Assigned seating for a Chems show is a new thing since a lot of us California people from the forum that are going have only experienced them in a general admission setting. Preferably, being closer is where it's at - there is something special about being up close (besides having your eyeballs melted from the retina-blasting visuals)!

Sweet, think my girlfriend is going to get me and her tickets, while her deadbeat boyfriend spends all his money on synthesizers...

I excused myself from work before 10 am so I get early on Ticketmaster.com but shit came up so I got to my computer a little late at 10:05 and went online. The first promotional code that the 'Bowl' gave me was 'summer' (found this out last night), so I typed it in, and it didn't work. so I called the bowl and they said they changed the code to 'Coachella'! (Funny :) So it worked) So I did a search for any tickets that were for $131.00 but no luck, so I went lower on the price, and still no results. So I started all over and selected 'any price' and the result I got was Section E for 44 bucks! Pretty good for that price if you ask me.

I will save this ticket until I get a better seat on the next presale, or of course on May 2, The peeps at the bowl told me that the terraces was the closest place you can get,, and anything closer than that has been sold out and bought by those who purchased the series event. The bowl also told me that they don't know which sections are available on the internet presale. A Mixed bag perhaps! :???:

So I encourage anyone to at least try to get a good seat on the internet and then try to get better one (hopefully a terrace seat) on May 2 for a better seat, or worse, an even crappier seat. BTW, I just noticed the promo code on the home page! Right now, Ticketmaster is on Section J

W00t, we got out tickets. We're in K2, so make sure you pass the dutchie ON THE LEFTHAND SIDE. So no crying at home with my synth, since my girlfriend saved my ass. Anyways, no sour grapes intended, but there will probably be an SF show at least on Saturday, and it will probably be general admission, so you position in the crown will only be based on you Frogger skills.

Okay, I ended up getting 4 seats together in Section K2. Hopefully they're close to yours, Biff. Row 20, Seats 108-115.

morning all,
my only advice for this gig is to get tickets as close to the stage as you possibly can.unfortunately the venue enforces a very strict db limit, so the nearer you are to the speakers the better! we will do all we can to deliver a loud gig but apparently some of the residents on the perimeter of the venue do not enjoy bass heavy electronic psychedelia on their sunday evenings...shame!

::laughs:: If only we could afford to set up a temporary soundblock.

Thanks for the advice, Tom. I do wish that there was a different setup for the venue--but we'll be feeling your vibrations nonetheless, even if it might be a little more quiet than what we're accustomed to from one of your "normal" gigs. :)

Looking forward to the show, by all means!!!

Wow! Those residents are also known as the Quiet Police!

We would love to get near the stage Tom, but we just gotta see how the tickets are sorted out on May 2, which I'm counting for a better close-up...

...Unless you have a extra folding chair on the side of the stage, I'll be more than welcome to sit there! ;-)

Glad that you got your tickets Poot!

Thanks for the real talk Tom.

Pooter, glad well be neighbors, I'm in row 18.

I'm sure all the cats in near by residential areas would be freaking out when the bass from Under The Influence drops.

Even though we have different seating arrangements, we're pretty much gonna bump into new fans next to us and share the usual conversation when you meet a chemical brothers fan:

'Hey what's up!'
'Where you from?'
'You saw them last year! Where?'
'The Surrender album is a classic!'
'Hey! That's my favorite B-side too!'
'Oh yeah! I remember that show!'
'Their visuals are the best, but tonight's gonna be better!'
'Do you have any E?'

'Not Much.'
'San Francisco.'
'Actually, I didn't see them last year.'
'Totally.'
'I know, right?'
'Totally.'
'Yes.'

Maybe I'll sell fake E to help us pay for the ticketmaster fees. Do people still remember what Flinstones vitamins look like?
