I'm sorry MX. Yeah, it does suck. But remember, no matter what, the sun comes up the next day. But, regarding depression, if you really think that's a possibility, make sure you have someone talk to you who's licensed. Depression isn't something to mess around with...
And that leads me to my sorries for s2a. I was with my ex fiance for almost 5 years. Recently, I left her for the last time. I won't go into specifics, but there were some issues of hers that caused her to treat me pretty poorly.
So when all is said and done, I can draw up a page of things that she did that are in no way positive for a relationship. However, even given all of these bad things; I still miss her.
Doesn't go away... not immediately. But eventually, it does. It'll pass. And because I love her, I hope she's happy, no matter what (or who) she's with and/or doing.
(sorry for the vagueness, you never know who's trolling for your name on the world wide interweb)

First of all, I really feel for you MX and I'm sorry that this has happened to you.
If you are depressed, and it doesn't go away after a week or two, go get a professional evaluation. I know it's already been said, but I do not think it is worth it to get out of it yourself. I know from personal experience with years of having it, but not wanting my parents to find out, that it really is not worth the mental suffering and... certain thoughts.
That said, I've personally found inspiration from the novel "1983", oddly enough. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the antagonist is forced to face his greatest fear, to the point that he thinks that he'd rather have it happen to his loved one than himself. The whole point to it is that afterwards, he can never look at her the same anymore and he no longer hurts. In a more practical manner, think about the things you don't like the person, and slowly withdraw as Darkstar said.
Good luck!
