The first moment I thought it was stash in the close up,.

Here's a vid from Fatboy, don't know if it has been posted here before but I think it's great directed. But please watch out: EXPLICIT CONTENT to follow:

Oh my gawd, Ben_j, what the hell was that? hahaha!

Csar, thanks for digging up this tune and vid from good ol Norm. I freakin dig that David Byrne is singing on this track. He's so brilliant and quirky and his voice and style mesh so well with this track.

Oh, and the video is funny. Very very kitschy!

Oh hahaha, that was a good one MadPooter!

Speaking of phone messages, check this one out (as far as I know this one's real, not a hoax):

http://prdifferently...ot_to_act_.html

Read the emails back and forth and listen to the .wav files of the phone messages. It'll take a bit of time but it's well worth it, not to mention this is a prime example of fuckwittery at its finest.

Bwahaha, Bosco! :P But seriously, Darren totally rocks that ol' stereotype. I am embarrassed for him (but he's still a tool).

So Pooter, I hereby dub you: Grammar Cop. teehee. Did your blood pressure rise when you first saw that pic?

  1. 06-23) 18:49 PDT -- If you've attended an event or festival in San Francisco lately - or even just hung out at a city park - you've probably seen them.

Admittedly, they're hard to miss. Someone in the group is usually toting a large American flag, and another is often carrying a boom box blaring patriotic music. Sometimes one of them dresses up as Uncle Sam.

They're the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco, but don't let the serious name fool you. The group's intentions are in the gutter: They want to rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant come January, when the next president is sworn in.

During the inauguration, the group also wants supporters to participate in a "synchronized flush"- a way to send a gift to the renamed plant, which supporters say, would be a "fitting monument to this president's work."

So I suppose dry British humor is genetic. Here's a bit I read about what's called The Blackadder Syndrome. Couldn't find it online so I typed it over:

____________________________________________

BRITISH HUMOUR FOUND TO HAVE A GENETIC CAUSE

Reasearches at the University of Western Ontario have studied the matter, and concluded that the British disposition to sarcastic and self-deprecating humor is rooted in the little grey cells. "Negative Humor" was found to be genetically linked to Britain, while in other countries it is a learned behavior. Blackadder and the Fawlty Towers were cited as examples in the study.

Hmmm. Well all righty then. I'm off to watch some dvr'd Mitchell & Webb Look now...
