ah okay, thanks for clarifying! there were so many awards given away back in the better days it is so easy to get them on the internet for about 100 quid incl. intl. shipping. the gold tapes were brilliant, however a gold record is even a bit better. I have awards for dyoh and surrender also, which were awarded to some guy at the record company who's probably on the dole now.

I had this surreal dream last night where I was at some long-lost Chems concert where they were playing TSU. It had a "sunrise" intro like the one seen here:

Except even more stunning. It cut off like seemingly every other grainy YouTube video I've found where they did something interesting to the setlist, but the feeling of inner peace was overwhelming.

Catching up with MadPooter: I'm in Washington, D.C. My internship isn't amazing, but this city is quite amazing. It's great to be back here, and I was lucky enough to have a friend stop by to stay with me for a few days while he travels across the world.

The universe tells me I'm exactly where I need to be, though, so it will be interesting to see what I get out of this, if not a renewed appreciation of whiskey. God, damn--people are alcoholics over here on the East Coast.

We got a new roommate for our pad, and he seems to be working out pretty good! I got traffic school next week, so I'll be wasting 8 hours on a Saturday morning. But what's my concern now too is that my own brother hasn't found a job for over a year, and he's hurting really bad!
