The EBW 5 Saga continues

Well I got my copy of EBW 5 today in the mail (finally). I haven't checked out the time on it, (my turntable belt snapped, I'll get it up and running ASAP). From what I've heard about the bootleg EBW5's (that it looks like they printed off the planet dust picture and stuck it on the record), this looks for real. It takes alot of info and proof to convince me So don't think I'll just get caught up in the moment. I took HIGH HIGH quality pictures of it and will have them up on the internet by tonight.
Some markings (aka words scratched into the vinyl) are: "CHEMSTDj-12-A2" The 2 is subscript (meaning below the A, like the opposite of A squared), "Mike's-The Exchange", and "JBAD". It weights about 5.5 +/- .5 onces. And there is some adheisive at 9 O'clock on the label. The back label is solid black.
Once again, I'll have the pictures up by tonight but I thought I should post some information about the record to compare it to anyone else that baught an EBW5 from the recent round of EBW5's on ebay.

P.S. I downgraded the quality so people could see the pictures with some ease. I have very high quality pictures (14mb TIFF's, no compression,) If you'd like them, email me or send me an IM on AIM, SN: staddydaddy. I'll try and get some pictures of the white label up.

I have mike's exchange on a vinyl promo for come with us. I bought what I thought was all the real battle weapons. Now that I have bootlegs and originals I can tell you that the way to distinguish the two is the fake one's are not as while on the label and the writing is not as sharp as the real thing. Even though they were bootlegs they all were the ebw versions besides 5 which was that stupid trance house shit. If you're like me and don't really care to have the original in mint condition shit and just want to hear the song, then buy the japan edition of the singles that had ebw 5 and problems solved. Wish those bastard bootleggers at least put that on vinyl, rather than that joke that is on the fake version

The fake one's are not as .....what? Your sentence doesn't make sense.

It was my understanding that the japan singles 03 didn't really have the EBW version, it was just mislabelled? I seem to remember a thread about it. Anyone clarify on this?

i got one of these copys of IBIA a month or so before it was released
i'm pretty sure this was a bootleg too. the recording levels on this record are far too low and the mid to high range frequencies fail to make an impact, it sounds very flat. but on the positive side the bootlegger did put the EBW 5 mix on this vinyl.

haha.. sorry didn't proof read that one. what I meant to say was white, not while. so the labels on the fake ones are white, however, the real ones are brighter white. in other words the fake ones are off-white, a little darker and what not, probably from being taken of the internet. The writting on the bootlegs is also a little pixelated and blurred on the edges, on the orig version the writting is very sharp
I thought they put ebw 5 on the japan version.. d'oh! least i didn't buy it and loose more money

This is what I have heard in the past. Does the picture of mine look like a bootleg or real? Do you need a higher quality picture? I looked closely for pixely label and what not. I'm still a lil skeptical that I got a real copy since I've only seen one EBW 5 on ebay in TWO years.
