I wached Red Eye the other day and i didn't like it so much. it was VERY Wes Craven. Not scary at all. Also i was so anoyed by Cillian Murphy in this movie. I thought he was GREAT in 28 days Later though and i think it's more the caracter he played i was anoyed by. Such a smooth guy , bluh.

O and i watched It's all gone Pete Tong again. I can't get enough of this movie , it's great.

robot.mx, if you can't find the Stewie Griffin movie at a shop near you, maybe try amazon? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Tonight we're going to watch some of this season's 24. Last season of 24 stank but I heard this season's better, so we downloaded some episodes to get us started. Keifer Sutherland... mmhmm. Gotta love a man who shoots and kills 7 people before breakfast.

The annoying thing about these seasonal shows is they just don't wrap up after an hour. They just keep going and going and going and the cliff hanger aspect is most annoying - we can't be bothered to tune in when they air on tv. We either download them (like we do Lost) so we can watch at our leisure or wait for them to come out as rentals. Then we go on these insane viewing marathons, talk about sleep deprivation!

I liked Red Eye. Good, but not great, but I felt like it was worth my time (plus, I have the hots for Rachel McAdams).

As for Oliver Stone, I wasn't a huge fan of Natural Born Killers, but it was alright. I much prefer Wall Street (great movie!!!) from his catalogue and actually like Any Given Sunday quite a bit. Platoon is also good, but is overshadowed in the Vietnam movie category by Hamburger Hill or Full Metal Jacket, among others.

Think I'm going to see V for Vendetta tonight.

24 has gone down hill.... its still the best bad acting action show on television though... i just recently caught up on an old favorite of mine.. Hackers... that movie rocked, i wish the internet was like that, flying through pages and virues i would be proud to have my computer obtain. i started to watch sideways while at my parents and i could only sit through ten minutes before i deicided i had better things to do with my life.

I also just viewed I heart huckabees... it seems like a rip off of so many better movies of that sort. but anyways i cant wait to see the new joy division movie which is being filmed i think right about now... it has the title "control" for right now but Ian curtis had one of the best voices ever... I like new order but i joy division had such a happier depressed sound...

Bah. Didn't get to go tonight. Hopefully later this week. Grr.

Other movies I've seen recently are Crash (don't bother), Wedding Crashers (far better than expected; actually a very good movie; Rachel McAdams is hot), and the Constant Gardener (VERY slow building movie, but a worthwhile watch).

I watched Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels for the first last weekend. Thought it was very complex with all the different gangs and links between them but I think I got it in the end, really enjoyed the film.

Ah, Guy Ritchie. Another DOOD who'll always be a GEE O DEE in my universe. Lock Stock was mindblowing, and though Snatch was VERY good too, I didn't like it as much as his first film, as it was more or less the same concept in scriptwriting.

The new one is pretty decent. He is trying to redefine himself, but nowhere close to Lock Stock. I still have to watch it a second time, since I have mixed feelings bout it.

Whirly - haven't seen Salvador, but Natural Born Killers is one of THE best movies ever made in Hollywood. It's fuckin art. Again, that was the only movie where I liked that Tommy Lee character, he was GOOD in that movie. That movie is a trip.

And Juliette Lewis.. uhmmm.. i LUVVVV that woman!! She's so fucking Goddess. Fuckin slides into that role. She's psycho and I love her. Another movie, the only Robert Rodriquez I really enjoyed, was Dusk Till Dawn - that was also the only movie I liked Clooney.

Bought Oldboy today finally! Had to be in my collection! Trying to get the rest of the vengeance trilogy.

hahaha, I love From Dusk Til' Dawn, that was a great friggen ride! We saw it in the theater 2 nights in a row. I will agree that Juliette Lewis was good in that film - loved it when Quentin Tarantino's character fantasized about Juliette Lewis asking him to eat... her... you know what I mean.

Anyway, I just dug it. It went from being this serious flick to something that was nearly comical. And Salma Hayek - her sultry little dance number had me mesmerized. Until it all went to hell! ;)

Oldboy... it was a great film, some really good fighting. But it was very disturbing. I made me uncomfortable and when I said, "ewwwwwwww, no way!!" my husband just laughed at me. X-D You'll know what I mean when you see it (if you don't know already). I think Slipvin here mentioned this flick a long time ago about it being one of his favorites... I guess the point of the film was to make the viewer feel a bit ill at ease, it certainly worked with me.

Oh my god!!! Thank you!!

I admit I like a bad movie just for a laugh. Bad sci-fi is great for the death scenes which are funny to rewind or watch in slow motion (it's funny, really it is or are stash and I the only geeks that rewind cheesy death scenes just because we can?!) But Doom was *so* bad it stopped being funny after about 5 minutes. That celluloid trainwreck made me embarassed to watch. The final nail in the coffin was toward the end with the first person shooter perspective.

What a way to piss on one of the greatest video games of all time.

Don't be fooled by the previews. That first person shooter scene was cringe worthy!!

Speaking of video games to movies, Silent Hill looks like it's going to be pretty good. Makes me want to play before I go see it:
