I don't believe there are any confirmed reports yet, just speculation.

That's most likely what he said. When you watch what happened before, it seems to be more or less what was said.

Apparently they've had lip-readers deciphering it, and that's where the transcript came from.



Wonder if FIFA will take any action against Materazzi based on that? They really wanna come down hard on racism, they should make an example of him and ban him for a year or two. I mean, Cantona was banned for a year or so for kicking a racist fan, so why not ban Materazzi for the same amount of time? Racism isn't acceptable, whereever it occurs

Reading the paper today, the lip reader said that Materazzi tweaked Zidans nipple to which Zidane replied something like "that doesn't do anything for me i'm afraid" Matarazzi said "it worked for your mother" while Zidane walks past him and then smiles. Materazzi then says the line that crossed all lines along the lines of "you're the son of a terrorist whore". He also called him "scum or shit"

at least, Zidane won't take any suspention... Hopefuly he wil say soon what Materazzi really told him, but now we know it has something to do with his mother and the word "terrorist".

Zidanes refused to say what was said.

Zidane just talked on the french television. I watched the whole interview, quite interessting, he talked about his world cup, and of course about his headbutt.



Here's what he says : Materazzi was pulling his shirt, so he said "if you really want my shirt, I'll give it to you after the match".

He says that Materazzi then said things about his sister and his mother, things that was too much for him, and that deserved this headbutt. He apologised to all the children who watched that because it's not a good example, but he says he doesn't regret what he did, as a human being, because if he says he regrets, that means he agrees what Materazzi said about his family, and that it can't be accepted.

He also said that what he did was of course unacceptable.



Appart from that he has been -as usual- very modest, about his performance in this world cup, especially against Brazil. He seemed very moved when he saw his head saved by Buffon. He spoke about his penalty, said it was the first time he ever did a panenka, that he thought about it before : "Buffon is a great keeper, so I thought if I shot my penalty as usual, he may save it, so I had to try something different"

You know, the U.S. are actually the world cup championships.



We're the only team that Italy DID NOT beat, we tied them, so, technically, we're co-champions.
