Exploding yellow balloon. It's in the center of the book. And i also don't have the screaming woman, but it looks like it is only in the smaller sized book.Posted Image
Yes I also have the exploding pong balls photo but not the skippy ball sized balloons which where thrown in the audience. You can see them in the photo of the dvd sized book

I'm away for work all week, but knew I'd be in the office during the day on Monday, so ordered it to be delivered there. It was with the courier for delivery from 818 this morning, sat patiently waiting all day until I could wait no longer, and it was finally delivered 20 mins after I left for the airport... grrrrrr! Going to have to wait until I get back on Friday!

^I feel your pain!

Seems Amazon dropped the ball! They have no tracking number or even a note/invoice saying that my purchase was shipped from their fullfillment center! I called them and they apologized + they refunded my 12 dollar shipping!

They said I'll get it tomorrow!

...to be continued!

So no DT for me tonight!

Yeah, I will be getting my DVD tomorrow, too. It's OK though. I will get it sooner with delivery than if I waited to drive across 3 towns to the nearest record shop to get it after work tomorrow.

great words
http://www.pitchfork...ers-dont-think/

"...It's an angle that might seem derived from performative social-media awareness; when everyone has a video camera, crowds are so easily distilled into individuals. But its real effect is an on-the-field, you-are-there immediacy that pulls you in more than any concert documentary recorded in recent memory, capturing not just what you see when you're riveted to the stage, but what you see when you turn to your friend, when you glance over your shoulder, when you wander the grounds, when you completely lose control. The crowd at Naeba Ski Resort could say they were there, sure, but you could probably count anyone who saw it in a London theater or a Montreal living room or a Chicago train ride as claiming an honest attendance, too...."

i dont understand how pitchfork could have given it a bad review when it was in the theatre and now all of a sudden they change their minds and give it an 8.2 when its on DVD. Clearly shows how inept they are at writing reviews.......clearly they had the intention of giving it a hard time at the begginning and now that they see people loving it after the screenings they jump up and support it...i never read pitchfork that much for that reason but i would check out reviews of bands i like but now i wont even look at that website at all...

if you want hd-quality buy the bluray

if you're fine with sd quality and don't need special packaging buy the dvd

if you want a nice package and don't need hd buy the special edition book (not the 10"-book)

if you want the most limited edition, maximum sized package and don't need hd by the 10"-book

if you want a nice package and need hd buy the special edition book (not the 10"-book) + the bluray and swap the dvd with the bluray

if you want the most limited edition, maximum sized package and need hd by the 10"-book + the bluray and swap the dvd with the bluray

the content of all the dvds (and the bluray) is always the same

the difference between the limted books is the size and the pictures included in the book (both have 28 pages)

the booklet of the bluray is small => 6 pages including a short one-page review about the happening, one fullpage picture, one picture going over two pages and the credits which are also on two pages. i think it is the same with the normal dvd edition.

amazon.co.uk >dvd< >bluray< >limited edition (small size book)< >limited edition (10"-book)<

When did they review the film when it was in theaters? Can you provide a link please?

Just read the Pitchfork review, and I just take their criticisms with a grain of salt now. Of course it is nice when the hearts and ears coincide, so I'm happy with the review (nevermind past reviews which put my panties in a bunch).

As for consistency (and this is to be fair) maybe the DVD review is based solely on the intimate viewing session, and how that is perceived on a train, in a livingroom, etc etc as opposed to being in a theater feeding off the energy of a movie-going atmosphere.

At any rate, it's better a nice review - especially from Pitchfork who have been less than kind to our Brothers in the past - than a grouping of harsh words that'll piss on our parade. :)

Does anyone know where I can get a limited edition DVD/CD one to deliver to Australia (preferably without burning my credit card as much as possible on delivery fee)?

Has anyone noticed the funny discussions going on on the Guardian commenting the stream? Predictable, old fashioned, overground and even allegedly used "audience cheer tracks" are considered attributes to describe them and the show. Haha, I find it hilarious and yet bizarre at the same time :)
