the big albums we've been expecting this year like AONO and Palookaville.
I was listening to Radio 1 last night and Lamaq was talking about it to a reviewer who had listened to it. It 'pushes' the envelope. French house was mentioned when describing the album. He seems VERY excited about its release so the fans get to hear it too :D

all you daft punk haters can fuck off. I love what they do with their beats and stuff. The build ups and just amazing. They have so much potential and they can actually kick chemical brothers ass. Discovery was a step forward , they could have done better but it was still great. Just listen to Alive 1997 and tell me that Daft punk is 'bland'. wasn't expecting that from you chemicalfan. :'(

well that's what the reviewer was saying, he assured us that there would be no dissapointment like you have felt with the other hyped up albums.
cool, tried to have a listen to the show and then realise that it was 4 hours long so gave up.

Hmm, I haven't heard Alive 97, so I'm not sure about it. Homework has got some cracking tracks on it, but there are more than a few on there that I consider bland. I'm sorry, that's just my opinion. Discovery was a masterpiece, it had a couple of bogey tracks towards the end, but it's mostly quality stuff. I agree, Daft Punk have huge potential, you can hear it in some of their tracks, that why I'm disappointed with a few of theirs as the potential doesn't come through.

daft punk live are amazing but alive 1997 is the worst live album i've ever seen! it's worse than any shitty bootlegs - crap artwork, shite sound quality, just 1-trk-mix... and: forget about those ugly stickers
don't get me wrong i do not hate daft punk, definitely not. i love a lot of their music but i am as objective to say there's a lot of crap, as well
