There's to much spam as it is, so you decided to add more I see. I bet you live on spam, deep spam pizza, spam sandwiches, spambled eggs, and you probably use the spam mens toiletries line too; hair spam, spam fresh roll on, spam flavoured tooth paste.

And this should be your avatar, and change your name to spamreaction

X-D X-D X-D

that is quite funny.

'owt wrong with a bit of spam.

a chef mate of mine entered a national spam-dish making competition. where all 3 parts of the dish had to include spam of some description. he made frittered spam, with spam mash and spam cubes with sweetcorn and he bloody won it!!

do you know what he got for his troubles? a blue t-shirt with the SPAM logo boldly emblazoned on it.

GENIUS.

I would do it for a shirt that says spam on it. Totally worth it. ;-)

Oh man, I thought spam cook-offs were an American thing. ;) My cousin (who's the most awesome cook!) used to enter the spam cook-off every year at a big annual fair in San Diego. My husband and I went to see the culinary delights the Spam fest had to offer and she won the year I saw her in her element. She made some Spam dolmas that won a blue ribbon, and of course she got a t-shirt and a case of Spam.

Too bad she doesn't eat Spam, I think she donated it to a homeless shelter!

As for Spam in threads, I think it's a little different when it's the regulars who are doing it to keep this place hopping when Chemical news is dry. I really don't mind when that happens, yes, it can be irritating and when it's done ad nauseum it can really piss me off, but in the end I can ignore things that don't interest me or take a breather from this place. But you know, most threads get derailed at some point anyway and that's when a real, human element takes place in our little corner of the world.

The kind of spam I don't like is the kind where people show up out of the blue and say, "check out this band if you like the Chems you will like these guys" or "look at my mower" "check out my shit it sounds just like the Chemical Brothers"... then they leave only to come back in 6 months time and clutter this place up with stuff nobody cares about nor will ever care about.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

X-D X-D X-D i should have guessed spam fry-offs were an american thing ;) X-D X-D only in the states etc etc :)

its weird innit, i don't know anyone that actually likes the taste of spam. it's rank!! we've had a tin in our cupboard since sept, and we literally lived of pasta and tinned tomatoes for a week and didnt once consider putting the spam in, its so foul!!!

regarding the spam of the computer variety, yeah i dig what your saying. if any of the bobbins doesn't take my fancy i just ignore it, and try not to get too het up about it. music spammers are the worst though. (incidentally, i'll be putting a couple of new tunes up on my website soon, you guys will have to check them out ;) :))
