Good tune man 8) kind of electro'y, with a breaks feel. i really liked the main riff/melody thing that ran through the whole thing, very slinky - and the added melody which came in in the breakdown/later on was really good - kind of live, but still felt very electronic - quite ecstasy :)
couple of observations for ya:
1) your mix is REALLY quiet - i had to crank my mixer to get it to any decent volume. dunno what your using, but in your audio editor, get the WAV of your tune and you can normalize it which takes the volume up to maximum.
2) i dunno if it was because of the mp3 compression, but the hi-hats sounded a little lost. - and from a personal point oif view, if you'd have bought them in a bit earlier in the tune (i think they dont appear until 2 mins odd??) it would give it a little lift. just an opinion of course ;) :)
yeah, thats about it really - good work!!
Mips
ps - if you still want that geezers e-mail for sample cd's PM me and ill send you the details. 8)

Well I don't know which quality you have chosen but the second one has 96 kb/s with about 3,89 mb I guess. When I compressed it, it sounded quiet good, almost like 128 kb/s... If you chose the version with about 900 kb (the whole track) it might sound too bad, I know.

I was referring to the 96 kb/s one. It's still not enough :) ... your version is like 96 kb/s with 32 kHz when I'd like to see atleast 128 kb/s with 44 kHz ... 160 kb/s all the better.
Tracks tend to get a metal glint when the bitrate is too low. If you think that the song sounds now almost as good as the original uncompressed one then I have to say that your drums sound too ...wet I think. But I believe that they would sound much better if you uploaded a better quality version.
You have made a great song whatsoever! The bassline is nice and the riff is veeery nice... 8-bit era videogame influence? 8)

Hi Soundertow!
Thanks for the review! And I believe you're right concerning the bitrate. 128 kb/s might be better a little. But there's a little problem because I'm using a modem with about 56 kb you know and if I want to post songs with about 5MB or more i have to wait and wait till the track is uploaded. Grass growing is much faster than this kind of technology. But in the future I hope it will become better... ;-)

Do I hear a TS404? This is quite big beatish. Makes me wanna get up and start going nuts. Nice breaks and snare samples. I love that synth that comes in near the end.
Hi Thor_Saytyr!
Did you mean me or Griffin?

you need a better version man!!! I love the main riff, totally rocks!!
Greet you Mr. Reaction! X-D
Well did you mean the version concerning the bitrate? I'm glad to give you pleasure.Feels nice hearing those comments... thank you.

Here there's a "new" song (it's an earlier track) called "One Flight Over The Ocean".
Hope you'll enoy it... And reviews are welcome, of course, doesn't matter in which direction bad or good. Just what you think... X-D
