Im sure past/future albums by the brothers are discussed here on a regular basis. What though are your all time favourite remixes/b-sides by the duo? Personally id have to say the chem's remix of method mans 'bring the pain' would rank at the top, its hip hop the way it should be done.

It's tough one, it's one of those that changes frequently. The one I return to the most is the Chems remix of Spiritulized - I Think I'm In Love

Remix -

Kylie -Slow (Chem mix) -I love how the vocals complement the jarring beats and that acid synth.

B-side -

These beats are made to break - it's short and it's funky.

That's These Beats Are Made For Breakin' which is a parody (in name only) on 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin'

Feel the Pressure - Dj Cut, it that counts. It's got the 303 which the chems don't use enough (luckily EBW9 uses it)

and

Enjoyed - sexy sitars, tripping snares, and that Out of Control bass line a little lower.

If EBW8 never becomes an A-side though that will be the favorite for me

To only pick one b-side is too difficult. :P

I am quite fond of the b-side Enjoyed. It's great listening to this while driving on a dark night with only your headlihgts to illuminate the road lines.

I really dig Freak of the Week, too. It sounds like puzzle pieces placed together to create this picture of sound (not like that makes any sense!!)

And Flashback. I really like Flashback because it's downright freaky and sinister and the sounds just open up and swallow you whole. It's so sci-fi hi-fi!

Aaaaand I really like Spring because to me, if joy has a sound, it would sound like this.

Remix : Kylie's Slow.I thought it was not such a good song , the original one. But than i heard this remix....the beat is so funky! Its just SUCH a good remix , its 5 million times better than te original.

B-sides....holy moly.

I will choose several.

Prescription Beats used to be my favorite Chems track for while. I like things that are noisy and sound un-polished and raw. Prescription Beats is just BEATS MADNESS and that acidy whoop whoop whoop whoohoohoop woop whoop sound in it fucking hell its so powerfull !

Spring

To me Spring sounds like little children running around in a garden with flowers. That sounds a bit corny i know but thats how it sounds to me. It sounds as if Tom got the inspiration for this tune by looking at his kids playing! ( Ed doesnt have kids so i cannot say Tom and Ed :P ) It just sounds so fresh , it sounds like morning haze before a warm day , like rain in spring and after comes tu sunshine and all the raindrops are lighted by the sun. Fuck i sound corny but thats how it sounds! I love this tune so much , its so beautifull , it's so meaningfull , it makes you feel like all the beautyness of the world is in an that one song to remind you of the simple pretty things in life.

Okay i'm running out of credit i am at the internet cafe , i will write more later ;) XXX

It's so good that she's using it in her live performances. And when it came out, Kylie herself was praising it on her official website.
