I usually think it's a good/bad thing with restaurants taking a while for food. It builds this sense of excitement, but then again, when you're starving to death and that food does get there you over-eat and feel terrible the rest the day and vow you'll never do it again.

wait, ed got married? when? That's almost like my best friend telling me in February this year that he's getting married in May.

Way too personal....I know Tom got married and has kids. Now I want to see tom in a neck brace.

Will there be 'a mean lamb tagine' as cryptic writings on the next vinyl?

The article is a few years old. Ed was married a few years ago but has since moved on...

As for cryptic writings - it'll be interesting to see what etchings are in store. It'll be kind of hard to top the infamous jerk chicken one!

Johnny Luv’s Question:
How long did it take and what did you make chemical beats on ????...apart from a 303.

TOM:
wrote that song in my bedroom at my folks house... i made it with a roland juno 106, an akai s1000 sampler, a boss heavy metal guitar pedal, a fender telecaster guitar and a short wave radio......no 303,the lead sound is the juno through the guitar pedal

Blimey. thats really interesting! I always suspected it might be an Sh101, but the Juno106? its got such a soft sound to it usually... but I suppose through a dist pedal gives it that rip!

good answer. thanks for not keeping everything secret!

Earl Grey’s Questions:
If your music career was to end today, which electronic artist or artists would you like us to follow? (a passing of the torch!)

TOM:

Well, inchem - Tom thought that was a weird question. Therefore you weirded out Tom. That is no fail and has to count for something!

Are they still doing this ? Ask the chemical brothers? I would like to ask them if there is any chance of a collab with the blue man group and beardy man. Man, that would make me bust all kinds of nuts.

We picked some fan questions below and will continue to do so, so please keep those questions coming to thechemicalbrothers@emimusic.com - & we’ll keep the answers flowing in the coming months.

Hopefully - but like most things on the site it'll turn out to only be "a thing" for the first month or so.

I still need to know how they like their steak done!

It's been eons since they've done a Q&A! That would be kind of fun for their next release but these sorts of things are short lived (or they are one-offs).

There have been a few times on Twitter when Tom and Ed talk about food. So perhaps one day we will know if they like their steak rare, medium rare, well done... :D

Not so sure about what collabs they have up their sleeves, though!
