I agree there - The Test is one of the Chems' finest moments for me too. That song has meant so much - says so much, I almost feel almost exactly the same.
Jeanie - I "think" that line's, Lord I'm Silenced. That's what I always thought and it's the most beautiful line just in the right song. It's a very strong lsd song also - LIFE, learning and evolving, not regretting anything. Sid does that to me a lot - exactly that sentiment - Lord I'm Silenced. That moment. Damn, lemme stop.

<The C, the H, the E, the M, the I, the C, the A, the L, the brothers! THE BROTHERS!>

Jeanie, you're absolutely NOT a lunatic, you're a person that live your life in such an intense and passionate way, and that's amazing!
That phrase from The Test you mentioned is really awesome, it's the climax of the song, and I really like it too. I think it's so cool you're thinking about tattooing it, it's such a powerful statement about the way you see life.
I really enjoyed reading your post, the phrase "Regret the things you havent done rather than the things you did" really touched me! So, thanks so much for posting it! :D
Thanks Soundwarrior.....! Means a lot ;)

Jeanie, would I sound too much like a lesbian if I proclaimed my undying love for you, right now, at this moment? X-D
Thanks for sharing your feelings on that song and bringing into the open - your post reads like the conversations we've had on that song. Ahhhh geekin' out! ;)
The Test happens to be one of my favorite songs of all time, too. It's filled with this imagery of standing on the threshold of your future with life's possibilities lying ahead of you. When I first heard it, I liked it. But when I really listened to it, I mean really opened my mind and heart to it - I felt it's power to speak to me and for me. It just sums up so many feelings emotionally, physically and even spiritually to some degree. For me it's one of those songs that can fit any moment no matter where you are in your life, if you let it. For me it's a timeless classic.

why i like em/his music...
the originality is what i always liked... thats what the Chems got.. the dont sample an artist and cut/paste the sample... they can sample lots of artist but nobody will notice the difference just coz they chop it and add fx!
there are few artist that do that... IMO thats why i like em
also they send me to another place, when i hear their music i feel like in another atmosphere.
and btw: two heads are better than one.
keep it rockin' CHEMICALS! :D }:-)

:D I think it's needless to say that we'll demand a pic of the tattoo when it's finished. :P
I was just thinking here, you all remember how Surface To Air was known by us as "The Underwater Song", right? From now on, The Test will be known as "Jeanie's Song"! X-D

I need you all to write down how you think you spell the sentence.
Thank you. Ed if you read this , it would be very nice if you could tell me EXACTLY what is says. I know what is says but i want to be a 100% sure. I dont want to have like a japanese tattoo that u think says " Love" but actually says " i suck" or someting u know X-D X-D

Yeaaah i cannot wait to get it now. But i dont like people to think am getting a tattoo of my favorite band u know. If this sentence would be from the beatles or something it would still be my favorite sentence in the world because its amazing. But the fact thats its from a chems song does add up to the speciality factor!

Holy crap! This thread attracted a lot more attention than I expected. It's good to see people sharing their thoughts on the subject. I was reading in it something that someone said (I can't remember who you are sorry!) that the music is accessible to anyone, but sounds so out amongst the stars and I think that's a really great characterisation of the Chems' tunes. The scope of their production style and the epic nature of their gigs really vindicate that idea. I'm looking forward to the new album anyway.
