besides this record, the NME mix tape is probably my most rare...
what's your favorite collectible?

I don't have this one....yet!
That's a nice relic you got there Gentec! You got one of those 500 pressings that came out! It got released on Diamond records (Ed's nickname back then) Lot of history in the making of those records. EDIT: There's plenty of copies on discogs!
I guess my fave collectible that I have would be my Block rockin Beats promo poster. It's a big-ass 60 x 40 inch poster that went out in record stores.
I'm trying to find the Elecktrobank one really bad! (Sell me yours Prochem )
Plus I need EBW 5 (last one I got was a bootleg)

I don't think NME Xmas tape is that rare. Many of us believe Where do I begin is the rarest item.

I don't have that one yet. I guess I will have to add that to my list of things I'll need to one day own. I usually don't hunt stuff down - I've grown to enjoy the element of surprise if I happen to stumble upon something I'm looking for.
Not sure what my favorite collectible is. I love my copy of In Glint and The Reel, a simple but cool promo of Push The Button in a cardboard sleeve, signed copy of We Are The Night... There's others... I don't have the time or money to be a serious collector of 'things' in general these days, but with the Chems it's different. Some of my favorites Chems items were gifts and others were simply lucky finds. It's all a gift, I think.

I do have that NME cassette and the Where Do I Begin CD single. I also have a nifty Not Another Drugstore/These Beats Are Made For Breaking single. It looks legit from Holland (LC 3098 / 1997) but there's not a lot of info on it. Anyone?

Green Label and EBWs, loads of bootlegs around that have 33 instead of 45 or vice versa and regarding EBW5 a totally different song, also loads of bootlegs of the yellow vinyl kylie remix.
my favourite still my japanese live and remix album promo in brown cardboard with limited edition no stamped on it. anyone else having this one by now?

Man, I will HAVE to check my collection, it's a 1,000 kilometers away from my place and I miss it. Will try to upload a photo once I have made one.
Ah yes, and I want one of the Hanna vinyls badly.

Which tracks are on this live/remix album?

A test pressing of what? Or do you mean an old pressing of The Test (which seems unlikely being it 1993)?

cannot tell. haven't held it in hands for 2 years now. got it from eil.com years ago and only ever seen a second copy online since then. incredibly rare. came along with probably PTB (maybe a bit earlier) as a promo 2CD set. name might be singles and remixes or so. includes singles and b-sides incl. rmx and live version of EPD, DYOH and Surrender era. cannot find it online. will take pics next time I'm at my parents place. anType could help here, he's had it on his disc list. it's not on discogs though.
same applies to the test pressing. definitely not "the test". one of their very old tunes. might also have been justin robertsons copy. just cannot remember. ed or tom has personally written that guy's name plus "play loud with heavy needle" on the white label. that's as much I can tell from my memory.

Half of the stuff on eil.com isnt there anymore, but at least it has the pics to show what these rare treasures look like, especially this 'strictly limited edition!
You gotta post pics of your stuff. I kind of like to envy other people's collection!

problem is, I have moved a number of times over the past few years and the safest place for my chems collection was definitely my parents' place. however, I will be getting most stuff into my current flat (which is just 961 kilometers away from my parents...) later this year. just hold on...
