Could also be Tom Rowlands - EP2 ?

Hm, Maybe. But to be honest, his recent work sounded more stripped down and pure than this piece.

I know the idea of Kele from Bloc Party being the vocalist has been poo poo'd but unless the vocalist is an unknown

Nah, no Kele there.

Maybe it's just a person we don't expect the Brothers to work with (like most of the collabs on PTB or WATN). I would love to hear the chems work again with people they've already worked with - Beth, Noel, Richard, Tim, Hope and Stefanie - but what i most like are surprises.

F*** it I'm on board now. Erol dropped it. That's a new Chems track, no question. And that intro - it's slightly modified from the sound they used in the transition between Acid Children and The Golden Path in 05, with that ridiculous pitch drop. The Vitalic boot and Hanna vs Marissa had really similar sounds.

I really don't think that's Kele. Still guessing Reznor, which would be a little off the wall, but then again, so were Ashcroft and many other collabs.

I'll repost the video since it was on the bottom of the other page

And everyone who thinks it's Keke are high.

I'm hopping on the train too. The intro + The Test sound + Chems and Erol playing it, I'm fairly sure it's a new Chems track

No way it is Keke, still vocal is quite atypical for brothers.

Agreed that it can't be Keke, though chances of it being Kele are high. It sounds chemical to me too, perhaps the first single out in summer.

It's been a while since a chems song got that stuck in my mind. Ooh, I can not wait until all the chemical fuzz is hitting us again sometime soon. I love this kinda thrill of anticipation and new album excitement.

Uh? Well, they didn't do anything to his voice on that particular track. They used his pure vocals.

On Believe, he sounds fairly like on the Bloc Party stuff.
I just listened to more recent stuff he did (with Martin Solveig and other cunts), and he does sound quite different, more suave like in Frequency, so I don't know... Could be him but it's a very long shot in my opinion

Well the vocal seems to go "Here in the frequency/is where I'm supposed to be". So it's a guess isn't it.

I hear "give me the frequency, where i'm supposed to be", and on 2:55 i hear "where i'm supposed to be.. give me the frequency.. of love, of love, of love..". Sometimes i hear "..and where i'm supposed to be..".

Correct me, if i wrong.

Me too. For me it's like "I'm hearing the frequency. That's where it's supposed to be" or something along those lines.

Listened again, mixed your versions and the result is: "Hearing the frequency, and where it's supposed to be"

The low moan that is around 4:30 of the original video (and throughout the Erol video) reminds me of the TV on The Radio - Staring At The Sun (Hollertronix remix) that they were playing around the time of Coachella 09.

I'm not going for that though. Voice sounds black English/British to these ears.
