could be a so-called "acetate". what makes me unsure about this is that it says DJ mix. would virgin put that on chems CD acetates? don't think so.



anyone ever seen a real acetate promo of confront your demons? they should be out there somewhere

acetate in terms of cd's just means cd-r. it got the term from vinyl where early pressings of a track was cut into a piece of acetate buy cutting a groove on a lathe.



the cover doesn't look your normal chemical brothers cd-r. no contact details or anything like that that they normally include

I would like to have Confront your demons and the Paris DJ set but otherwise I don't bother too much with the CDRs, you pay money out for them and don't get a great deal back imo - just a clear plastic case with a small bit of paper and a cd. I have 4 of them, but the only one I value is my Star guitar short radio edit CDR.

paris DJ set can be found on promotional 2-CDRs only. but confront your demons has been given away as part of the US Cornerstone #46 compilation. hard to find but worth the money. CD1 incl. golden path audio, CD3 video and CD2 is full CYD set

i have one that looks like that, but I think my Virgin leaflet looks different. Not sure though. I have played my copy so much, it has hundreds of scratches and it now skips. Oh well........I got every damn pennies worth out of it. Even played at a Mexican restaurant while people were eating their dinners.
