I got to witness this last time I saw the Chems because I was up close to the stage. The other times I saw them they closed with Sunshine Underground or The Test - no octave madness that I can remember, plus I was quite far from the stage. But at the end of the last Coachella set when they played The Reel (one of the highlights of my life next to getting married and the day my son was born) he brought the thing out from behind the mass of gear and started going crazy right in front of the concert goers who were lucky enough to be at right up next to the stage. I loved his facial expressions, he had this "muahahaha" mad scientist "yeah, you want me to do this? yeah? YEAH??" look about him, hahahaha!

It was fun, before the encore, a guy came to unscrew the kitten of the rack, and another one brought a case so that Tom can climb on it :)

Good memories! I was about ten feet from Tom making the Kitten scream at Coachella 2005. So glad to have squeezed up to the very front for The Reel.

thanks jeanie, I waaaaas going to work on the salmon dance remix contest with my day off but that video is just too amusing, then there's all those related videos on the side of talking cats (they don't know how to say kill me), and then I'm trying to get my cat to talk, he only does a beatbox thing while I go get coffee.
