however, meeting up with jos in cologne back in 2005 was a cool experience, wish we could have stayed for the rest of the night but had to take a train early.
Yeah that feels like ages ago. Wouldn't mind going to Cologne again for a gig. In fact I was at E-werk (opposite Paladium) early 2010 to see the Prodigy.

F#ck you went to Luxembourg?? I was thinking about it but it's all the way south in Luxembourg which is over a 4 hour drive for me. And I was sick so I'm glad I didn't buy a ticket.

The meet with Whirly and 'Stash was great, even though Woking is a shit hole. I couldn't properly so I had to take it easy as I'd been 'spiked' the week before and still felt shite. They're good people Sneaks DJ'ing at Vamps was brilliant, I remember dancing like a pro and that guy who had the loudest claps on Earth. That was the first time I got to meet the legendary ChemicalFan who was sporting a pair of Nike trainers and tracksuit bottoms. The dress code was non-existant.
Haha, oh my god the Clapper. How could I have forgotten about him? It's a wonder his claps didn't shatter the pint glasses. How is it humanly possible to have handclaps that sounded like gunfire?
You do know how to bust a move, iggy. And your friend and stash throwing up gang signs over the course of the evening was precious. West Siiiiide.
It's funny, because you were the very first person I met off this forum. stash and I were sitting in that pub in Woking and everyone that walked in, we wondered if it was *the* iguanapunk. At one point before you arrived, a little older Asian woman came into the pub and stash said "wouldn't that be funny if that woman was really iguanapunk, and she was just fuckin with us?"
Too funny. I will get back to the UK one of these days...

hahahaha! I really wish I was a little Indian woman now, and I'm sad that I'm not. *sigh* trust Ady to gang sign, I saw him earlier and he showed me a photo of him and Coolio (of Gangsters Paradise fame) gang signing hahaha. I think everyone that night and for the rest of the week practiced getting a clap so loud it could pop ear drums but to no avail.

Getting on a plane, getting on a tube, dumping our stuff in a hostel (did why sleep there? can't remember), eating and drinking in a pub, going to the Roundhouse, going outside the Roundhouse cause of a fire alarm, going back inside, seeing an awesome gig, going to the afterparty, going to a pub, getting our stuf, going on a tube, getting on a plane back to Holland. This all in less than 24 hours. Jeans remark: "it was great but never again"
We should have done it last years roundhouse gig...
The great EBW8/9 round up was fast. It was the fastest growing topic ever.
NYE Turnmills meet up with everybody there, the big drop of Burst Generator at 00:00, hearing Justin Robertson spin "Problems/Animal track" running to the couch were the rest was lying wasted, dancing my ass off
ahhh Turnmills, we'll miss you
Hahahaha yes! That was a great trip Jos! Only...there was no hostel involved! We just wandered around London the whole day (went shopping, remember? I bought the boots and a dress! I'm such a girl for remembering that haha)
Than we went to the gig, and very early in the morning we went the airport. We slept on this bench and i set my alarm clock every 10 mins so we wouldn't fall asleep.
I was SOOOO tired.
Turnmills was awesome. I remember that couch very well. I just discovered E and was in my E honeymoon (thank god that only lasted for about a year) and that couch was one big pile of friends all over eachother (in a not-dirty way! haha)
That NYE was....INSANE.

I think it was after a gig, in London, that me, AcidChildren, Mike (chemicalfan) and Mippio went to a club (was it called The End or something?) Rich was not really feeling the music and he looked like he was not having such a good time.
All of the sudden, about 10 minutes later, he's up on this little stage dancing like there was no tomorrow, pumping his fists in the air like Mohammed Ali! The strongest case of '2nd wind' i've ever seen.
Speaking of this club, i also went there once with my mate Ed, Mippio and Darkstar. It was the day after NYE and i believe Erol Alkan was playing. That night was a disgrace. We all got so pissed, i don't even know how we survived that night haha. Theirs pics of me dancing with my eyes closed and the drunkest grin possible on my face!
This was back in the day where Mips aunt still had this amazing apartement in London where we all crashed.
So many awesome memories.

Haha, I remember that! Dancing to escape velocity for the first time! Too bad that I don't have a webcam — I was merely left to chatting, everyone going "OMGOMGOMG"
Haha, great time!

Greetings everyone !!! Ben_j, with whom I have been attending the last Chems gig in Paris a few days ago, told me about this thread and I figured I couldn’t remain silent any longer. I miss you all so much ! Jeanie, your words really hit my little Chems-board-nostalgic, party-pictures-posting heart, it’s great to hear from you again !!
Ah fuck. So much amazing memories. The Chems board really was THE place to hit to have a great time (and still is hopefully !). Remember the Hot Chemical Brothers and Sisters calendar idea you had in the LEGENDARY General Bullshit Chat thread whirly ?! Ahaha I remember posting a silly pic of me with some king of hairgrip on my reasonably big nose (ah, and I still had short hair at that time). That was ugly. Funny times !
I found the exact page : http://www.thechemic...lendar__st__540 Unfortunately the pics are not online anymore, Jeanie and anType apparently had a shot at this it was amazingly funny ! OH MY GOD that was more than five years ago… We got to find those pictures !! Or maybe… Do It Again ?
Oh by the way, is anType still lurking around here ? Remember his compilation named “Few Nanoseconds In Solemn Interiors” ?! It’s brilliant work and I still give it a listen nowadays.
And nobody spoke about the amazing Forum CD ! The tracks were surprisingly great. I still have a copy at home. Who was the head of the project ? That can’t be mistaken : the community spirit floating around was really strong. Thank you all !
Jeanie : AHAHA really, thanks for remembering me the drunk pictures thread !!! My god I didn’t remember those ones, thank you so much. I had five years of reasonably heavy parties, I guess we could post some new ones.
Overall, I remember this period of my life as a truly happy one and this place is partly responsible for that !
My leaving the forum has to do with the path my life had taken : I moved to Paris to study sociology and spent like two years in a flat without the Almighty Internet and had a much stronger relationship with the real world. Can you imagine that ?! The real world ??! Yep I was scared at first but heh, everything went better than expected. Also, I write and produce songs in a band now, I'll post some tracks if someone is interested !
Anyway, those were definitely the days. I won’t be able to thank you enough for that.

Welcome back man!
I was actually also not posting for a long time; i was to busy!
But always lurking man, the forum will always ne a part of me.
I wonder what those pictures of us were for the calender! I clicked on your link and got stuck reading general bullshit posts. It's so funny, i was in Tokio at the time. It's great to read memories from my own adventures!
I posted so much on the forum when i was still modelling. I was quite 'lonely' and the forum was always there!
Is there any way we can find the drunk photo's topic again?!
And who remembers....NerdCore!? Remember Whirls?!?!

Ahah I'm trying to come across some old threads and I didn't remember I had such a gay reputation around here. Stach reacting to my party pics : "you seem to have quite the thing for penis. Not that there's anything wrong with that " Hilarious !
