I was thinking about the live show aswell. I'm certain that future gigs will be at least one hour and thirty minutes.
But what about the 4 Roundhouse gigs coming up? There are playing Further back-to-back with the visuals. So I think that show won't be over an hour. Except with an encore, guessing Sunshine underground and Hold tight London.

i hope so!!! chemshows are always "too short" imo. but that's because of the awesomeness. 50 days till sonàr....yeeey!

But the announcement around further makes it sound like they are gonna play the album tracks back to back in their entirety.

That might mean before the show they'll play the album, pooter and I saw soulwax and they did that with a DVD they were releasing.
Maybe it's cause the album isn't out yet, premature listening party.

- have the chems announced somewhere that they'll playing the album back to back with videos at roundhouse?
- also has it been announced that the third disc is the roundhouse live show?

Absolutely not. I was just saying that it COULD be a live. Not the Roundhouse gig. It would be too short anyway I think they wouldn't have time in one month to press it.

I had done most of the wikipedia WATN stuff last time around, and was pleasantly surprised to find most of it untouched after all this while. :) Can someone from here keep the page updated this time round?

Hehe, I had used a lot of "The Chems" did this that yadayada last time, Wiki's expanded that to Chemicals - so it's The Chemicals - sounds odd. :roll:

Little news : Popof is working on a remix for one of the Further's track !

We learn that he also works on remix for Moby and Booka Shade.

It seems to mean that remixes are planned for Further ;)

seriously: chems were playing popof's remix of after sunglasses and high & down in most of their dj sets so it seems clear to give them a further track as a present, that popof rocks so nicely in their chemical sets.

btw: popof's latest releases are more minimal techno which i don't like so much. hopefully he will not shred a epic further tune to shminimal.

but his early work is pure madness. check out alcoolic ep or chomper (lsd version)!!!!

They never said they would be playing Further as their live set - only that they would be "seen in sequence at those gigs". I'm holding out for the litening party theory: they play the movie, then play a set with some Further material mixed in. After all, are they just gonna play the same album for 4 days in a row?

That reminds me of The Micronauts. During the Dig your own hole era, they would play some of his tracks, and then he did a remix for Block Rockin Beats. Both The Micronauts and Popof are French, and Popof kind of reminds me of The Micronauts sometimes.
