Then they went off, and we were just waiting for TNK to start. I don?t know if irish_fan noticed but I did, I seen a security guy that I thought id seen before who and couldn?t remember where from.. then I seen this big guy walk past who also looked like id seen him before, then I put 2 and 2 together and the answer was that them two dudes were security at the Marlay park gig! I was like.. wtf? Do they have their own security gaurds?

I had the camera the whole day and told higgies to take it, cause id probably break it and I wanted to dance freely, so he took it and clipped it to a kind of handle so he cud wrap it round his wrist and clip it to the cam, so it never fell or dropped out of his hand. I?d told Higgie?s and Cole about TNK and how it started. The start of it came on which I wasn?t firmiler with started and Cole was eager to know whether it was it, and I was saying..wait wait? the lights, wait for the lights!??THE LIGHTS!!.. TNK had started and I started screaming :P cause I knew they were set to come on any second. . TNK was playing? I was thinking ok when.. now? When?

Then I looked round and people start to scream, and I thought damn that must be Tom and Ed and it WAS they came on and gave a hand gesture to our side of the crowd and got up on the ?SpaceShip?, the curtain opened and tom and ed played some funky visual sound, and I was thinking..huh? no HBHG? Wtf? And then after the curtain closed over the crazy funky visual went away, they mad a constant sound.. then the beat for HBHG came and it just, KICKED the night off? it usually says HBHG a few times before the little tune kicks in, but here they got straight to it! One HBHG and the tune came on I was waiting for the actual part that everyone loves to kick in. In the process I was looking at toms movements while holding onto the banister in front of me waiting for it to kick in and tom just threw himself down on the desk and a white flash and BOOM off it went :D or off I went :P soaring into the air and just going crazy! Looking round to see the response of the others and seen hands and arms in the air and hair and lights and just the whole atmosphere was amazing. My friend cole was having orgasims and Higgies was holding the camera jumping :P

Just adding something in, its good that Irishfan got the setlist, means now I can do it all in order!

Morning lemon came on next, and I was like?fuck fuck.. Cole was like.. WHAT SONG?! ?>MORNIGN LEMON!.. YEHH!!.. Cole was in shock WAHAH MORNGIN!! YEH!!..KICKASS!! DANCCEEE!! And everyone else was standing still whilst I did my crazy morning lemon moves and cole bouncing, it didn?t play too long but afterwards Get Yourself High, I didn?t know at first? was thinking ok what is this.. Then heard the little funky mix of GYH and the when the bassline came, awwgh? Woow..  I was singing along to the lyrics of the live version making the sounds that cant be sung. Listening to the Coachella set was the reason behind this, I knew what was coming. The next song, I heard the tune that seemed so firmilar that I knew I heard but couldn?t put it into words and cole constantly asking WhaT IS IT?! WHAT SONG?! Im like..THE BIG JUMP!... *JUMP* that?s just when the little tune was hittin in, then the big jump actually came, I told cole to fuckin JUMP!  Then next, Galvanize!

I signaled to Higgie?s This is it.. get that camera out now. This is where the Black curtain FALLS! (referring to V Festival 05) (I love that bit when it falls!) So I was assuming it falls, but they caught me off guard the black screen was pulled open and the crowd left to find a big FIST! Building up to the actual tune was like a timebomb? I was just waiting for it! Then it happened.. and I threw my hands in the air, still singin of course. I had been going apeshit so hard I needed such a drink! And made a drink gesture to one of the EventSec and she shook her head and im like wtf?! I need watterr noooww! So I had to go thru the whole gig without any refreshment!

Near to speaker but not that close....were you with the two guys who were quite funny whenever Caged Baby were on....hurling abuse at them...

Have to say wasn't the best set I have seen them play but it was good to hear some of the tracks off the new album which I haven't heard live before, especially Surface to Air.

have to say vegtable vision were busy in the last few weeks as they have redone a lot of visuals and added some cool ones as well.

well what can i say about the gig . venue was brillant really small and the sound was brillant especially close up to the speakers as we were. the new stuff especially the new track after surface to air sounded brillant . really sinister beats and sounds like it could be a new electronic battle weapon. the new intro is superb quite different from the usual and a really nice change and the visuals to it are lovely. love the live version of morning lemon and the mix of gyh as well with it. the big jump is getting crazier and more insane on every tour. galvanize rocked the place and the breakdown cut up is funky as hell. music response live was superb different from the last tour dates as it is more like the album version and under the influence was extended for longer than it normally is played and it doesn't matter was cool. the lasers for out of control was brillant especially in such a small venue. loops of fury was great to hear heavy as hell and the way elements of tempatation are mixed in at the end is incredible. star guitar and surface to air are bliss live then the new track is really promising and cool with the hoops visuals used ans some new visuals as well and the butterflies are insane. believe tore the place up and so did ebw 7 and then the golden path emerges and there was a great moment as ed and tom were at the mixing desk and ed pointed tom to us in the crowd and they both waved and cheered at us. chemcial beats was great and the ending of it with the picture of george best was a fitting tribute to the man. hold tight belfast was great a differnent track to the album and is very cool. and then the private pyschadelic reel started and the build ups were brillant. then as the last notes were being played it was over.

it was a incredible gig and a great way to finish the ptb tour for me. and what a tour it has been.

Part.. em, whatever :P

After galvanize came BRB? and I had been telling cole and higgies? about the White dude in the V Festival 05 visual.. and I just thought it was completely amazing, and I got to see him! The little tune before it and im shouting BACK WITH ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE BLOCK ROCKIN BEAATTTS YEEOOOO!!! You can imagine how made we were all going when the it kicked in :D

Completely Lethal :D

Music response came on and once again I told the boys what song it was  then when the visuals kicked in I just shouted WTF!? LOOK IT?S THE WHITE MAN GOING BERSERK!! Laughing at the same time, banging my head back and fourth and then going crazy to the extreme part! Like Irish fan said the Bleeps were deafening, but like I didn?t care! Too busy trying to have a good time! Looking back at it now, it seems sooo good, but when I was there the girl pissed me off so much. I don?t even want to include that part in my review. Under the influence was played just before It Dosent matter, and I was trying to work out what song it was and discovered it was Under the Influence. At this point I wasnt going completely nuts just relaxing dancing, going nuts on the spot in other words, and whenever I was ready to jump I got some leverage off the banister in front of me! I heard the drumming to ?It Dosent Matter? then the DOoooooooossseeeennnnttttt maaatttttteeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?.Tom was pushing back and fourth from his desk waiting for it, then it kicked in so hard and beat sent us flying. :P We got some really cool videos of It Dosent Matter.

Another amazing part in the gig was when out of control came, the song describes exactly how the crowd was, out of control. When that part came round where it just makes your mind pop! I think around this point I took my made up t-shirt and tied it round my waist and then got the other tshirt and put it behind my neck but it was still on and my chest was visible, I was boiling, and needed a drink bad, but tried not to think about it and kept going insane. The build up to Out of control was so immense, it went all dark and then when and you could see little trickles of green flashes, then when it really kicked in the bass, was 100% pumpin  and there were only the green lights shining out above the crowd. You could see the smoke and it was like seeing a sunset movie! In fast motion!

Star guitar.. one of my favorites, when I heard that I couldn?t help it, STAR GUITAR !! YESS!! 10minutes of extremeness! The lights flashing every colour, tom and ed waiting on their Spaceship waiting to soundkick us into a new world! :P Tom pulled the trigger and off it went, Ed had his hand in the hair, and from the looks of the video, the gave higgies some chemical juice of something :P The Crowd were loving it too! Bouncing about seein faces and legs and arms :P

It was at this point where we started to run out of memory so we had to pull out memory chips delete old stuff and kick it back off again, I don?t think we got any videos of S2A the new track (sinister) and Believe, which was a disappointment. When S2A came round, it was a relaxing kind of song that kind made me do a light pogo jump. All the crowd could hear before it came on was, Weee Heellp.. and I sang along to what I think it said ;) which is, We help, Make the world go a little bit, Faster. I was taking it easy on S2A it was like a little break to the whole night. Then that song sinister came on and I so didn?t know what it was, but I was liking its vibe and danced along to it and really liked the visuals to it too, the Monkeys and Elephants.. If that is the new song im talking about :P If it isn?t.. It still didnt seam firmaler and the visuals were still cool as hell!

Then the little tick tick *clap* song came on, it?s the Intro to Believe, I seen it in a video from the gmail account, I loved the visuals for it, and seen the DOVE!... Believe lyrics being sung? waiting,?waiting? then Tom and Ed got straight to the point and sent out another chemical wave! Still only the start, still going mental :O It was just the light part, I knew the most craziest part was yet to come, and when it did my god.. visuals, people, music Dancing! Was fantastic!

Coming to an end.

After Believe, another favorite of mine! Acid Children.. heard the funky little tune and shouted to Cole and Higgies?YAA!! ACID CHILDREN.. we call cole a clown and I said Higgies get the screen! Coles coming on! :P that?s our little joke for Acid Children.

The red time warp?ish kind of visuals appeared on screen, tell me and whoever knew the song that it was coming 

Most of you guys know what its like with acid children, its just fuckin class! More clowns appear, then the it sends you into hyperspace near the end where yellow red and green stars are flying at your.. Im thinking, this stuff is complete whitey material :P I?d hate to be the one on acid right now.

The golden Path.  It?s a hymn to tom and ed. Its like preaching the Chemical Gospel :D

That?s how it felt, that and TPPR. The bit in this song that I especially love is the little drum hits when the singer is singing ?Ahhhhhhahhhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh? and you hear the little drum bits in the background. Seems weird I know :P but that?s the best bit I love. Then when it sings ?Please forgive me, I never meant to hurt you? its like being at confession or something, makes ya emoitional too :P

So I wasn?t exactly going mad just closing my eyes and singing!

This last section is a lot like the Coachella setlist cause up next was the Elecktrobank Outro which was completely crazy at the end, when the crazy bleepy sounds were going off and I was thinking, its like a spaceship landing or something  holy shit, now I know what Jeanie calls it the Spaceship :P

Ive a video of this, Tom come up to the front of our side of the stage and starts clapping and shows respect to the fans, Me of course screaming to get some attention :P like TOOOOOOOMM WOOO YEHH TOMM!  *Reaching out*

Meanwhile in the background (at the time I thought) who?s that guy on the screen, I didn?t know it was G.Best and cudnt exactly make it out either. So I didn?t know who the strange guy was on screen, but now I do 

They went off for a break and cole was asking me is that it is that it.. im thinking..Hope NOT! :D

But I told him if it were the lights would come back on so they?ll be back on in a second, probably off for a little drink and then coming back on.. it was a quick interval about a minute at the least maybe 2. and they came on and at the back it said HOLD TIGHT BELFAST!

And I thought..HOLY SHIIITT!!........I HAD THAT IN MY NAME?OMG :D

?COLE?! COLE?! LOOK?MY NAME!?

Not saying it was me, but I mean wow, what a feeling  Then they like made more spaceship sounds, and they got faster and faster, in sync with the the strobe lights and you could just see, ?Hold Tight Belfast? in the background. When the lights and sounds sped up everyone was like HOooloLY Fucckk?! Whhhaat the Heelll? *Bllinnndd*

All you could hear was ?ooOooooooooOoaoaowwaaawwaaAaaaahhhahwwoooowwW!!? like you were just about to go down the biggest drop on the a rollercoaster! Then they slowed down a bit and a picture of London came on, I thought at first Belfast, hence, Hold Tight Belfast, but came to realize, it was obviously London cause the actual song was Hold Tight London. This was the first time I?d get to see this live and I thought it was pretty good. I like this song, like just thinking about random stuff while listening to it. It was a great idea to play this, its almost like a comforting song, and being on the day of G.Best?s funeral and him being a ?Belfast Boy? this was pretty cool! The visuals for this song, was footage from London and it being synced with the music, like as if you were flying through London and looking at sculptures and things like that :D

In the video we got, we got some of the visuals and checked to see how the crowd reacted. We checked out the crowd and they responded in a quite cool kind of way, they were just there to enjoy themselves  Wasn?t exactly a complete utter mad dance it was just a pogo up and down, boppin. A lot of people were swaying there arms in the air and slowly dancing incl me :D

We got some footage of Ed making gestures to the crowd whilst tom was up working on the finishing touches to HTL. Was this the part where they noticed your shirt Irish_fan? If it was ill send you the vid so you guys can cherish it :P Or if Its another video, tell me and ill try and sort you out if you like.
