No new lbum by the brothers. Ed has become a Twitter expert for the Guardian and Tom still is in his barber training.

Hey rajatedm.
Tom and Ed have been laying low for quite some time, but they have mentioned new tracks in the works. Traditionally they start spinning in their new tracks into their DJ sets, so going and seeing their DJ sets is a great way of hearing unreleased Chemical Brothers music, if you're lucky enough to be in a place where they're DJing.
Ed has emphasized academic pursuits in the last couple of years, I think, which explains a slow-down in Tom & Ed's work as "The Chemical Brothers." But Tom, however, has kept up production of new music under his own name, and you can hear a few new tracks and at least one remix by Tom that feature a distinct "Chemical" sound to them.
I have a feeling that in the next year, though, we might hear some news about a new album. Where there is mention of new music by the two, generally, there is a new album somewhere on the horizon. Sometimes we get a few early hints here on the Forum when we're lucky, and if we do, you'll read it here.

It's OK to be a freak. You're among freaks. And you're amongst a TON of talent here. A long time ago, in a forum not so far away, we did have a collaborative project amongst us resulting in a CD made up of original music and artwork. It involved a lot of file sharing, mix-downs, and whatnot. But it was done and is possible!

I'd be game to do a second forum CD... maybe as a tenth (ish) anniversary to the first one. I don't know when the first one was made, but I think it was around 03-06. We've loads of new blood to work on it since the first CD, and I'm sure anyone here would welcome an excuse to do a new song or two. I'd love to get involved.

Well I haven't been around these parts as long as most of you people so I'm not sure what the 'watch the skies' thing refers to. Is this something they've tweeted/announced in the past when new material was imminent? What I do know is that the line was used in this 1991 track which I imagine the Chems are well familiar with.
