Did I scare with the forum title? Didn't mean to.
I was thinking, watching the Sunshine Underground live that a gig with the most epic, strechted tracks would be awesome. Tom and Ed, I hope you keep touring for many more years and you will become the Rolling Stones of electronic music (or the succeser to Jean Michel Jarre, take you pick) but someday that very last gig wil be. I hope to be there. And wouldn't it be great if that last gig was one great jam of the longest, epicts, psychedelic tracks ever produced by the Chemical Brothers. Making the tracks just go on and on like Rare Earths 'Get ready' (live version or original 12" extended 27 minutes long)
in no particular order:
The Private Psychedelic reel (28 minute psychedelic rework)
The Sunshine Underground (18 minute sundown version)
The Test ft. Richard Ashcroft (including 4 minute a-cappela extended)
Believe (the build up keeps building remix)
Hold Tight London ft. Anna Lyne Williams (12 minute including 'So happy (nothing can go wrong) Trespassers William contribution)
Snow/Surface to air (keep lifting 14 minute blizzard)
Out of Control ft. Bernard Sumner and Primal Scream (don't fight it, feel it 20 minute extravaganza)
Chemical Beats (FEAH 8 minute acid extended)
Escape Velocity (we made this 12 minute monster double sized remix)
Electronic Battle Weapon 8 (14 minute "we can play paint pong all night long rework)
Electronic Battle Weapon 7 (the Pied Piper extended version)
Electronic Battle Weapon 6/Setting Sun (this together is already 20 minutes)
It doesn't matter (3D robots are invading the club 10 minute version) (don't take drugs on this one)
Total gig time 3hours45minutes, with standing ovation 4hrs10min Roundhouse, Camden Town, 1 night exclusive
And telling your grandchildren you were there, with Tom and Ed in an old fogs resort in Switserland.

You're wicked, the title almost gave me a heart attack. What an awesome set list though, if I'm still around then, I'm there!
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

Yup, same for me -- the names of these threads needs to have "[HYPOTHETICAL]" or "[PROSPECTIVE]" in front of them. Something like that.

First off those "mashups" sound a little wonky Whitenoise...
I'd like to see them play The State We're In at least once. As long as they've got the guest vocalists there I suppose they'd be obliged to play Beth's part, but I'd still like it if they could do a "dancier" arrangement more reflective of the outro than the shoegazing first part.

Jos, you bastard, I was on holiday for a few weeks, only come back today, see this topic and almost suffer a heart attack!
Honestly, I don't want Tom&Ed to become the Rolling Stones of electronic music or of whatever - the Stones used to be great, now they're just rubbish, big money-making machine, irrelevant as to new music but still releasing stuff no one really needs. I don't want T&E to end up like them. A nice clean cut in a couple of years, when they're still able to play a 4 hours set And it's great to know many of us will be there. From that moment on, we can only keep their performances in good memory and rely on live clips on the internet or a live DVD which might make sense at that point.

Broken into 3 parts:
Show stars with the usual tmn, then Stephanie Dosen comes out and sings Snow! Right when the song ends, they show a video montage of some of the Chemical Brothers shows and videos, then Song to the Siren comes on, then Leave Home is next, then Loops of Fury snippet that goes into Life is Sweet! then a quick snippet of Morning Lemon that seques into Chemical Beats! Then we get Elektrobank, then a snippet of It Doesnt Matter that goes into Setting Sun! Then we get BRB that goes into Not Another Drugstore! Then we get a new viz for the next song Let Forever Be, then Music Response, then a snippet of Under the Influence that goes into HBHG, then we get Flashback snippet that slows down into Chico's Groove that goes into Where do I Begin (Crowd goes crazy when she comes out)
part 2 later...
