i'd thought i'd heard the vocal sample, and the bass was slighlty more pounding, a la IDM, but who know

Yes, Baloons!

I really enjoyed their set, but I thought it was a bit too quiet - I was just to the left of the sound desk, so I assumed that would be the optimum spot - but I have found that's usually the case with London 'festivals' after a certain time at night. I've heard there are licensing laws here that require volumes to be reduced in built up areas after 9pm or something. There were similar volume issues for Leftfield at LED festival last year too.

But that aside, I thought the set was brilliant. Apart from a few tried and trusted combinations, it was a completely different set to any I've heard before. The new track was wicked, can't wait to hear more of it and the Galvanize/Leave Home mashup towards the end was superb. I might try and make a version of that for my DJ sets :)

Big ups Tom and Ed, excellent performance as usual. I hope they go back to Brixton Academy soon so I can hear that set nice and LOUD :D

when I saw them in Luxembourg, I also thought they were less loud then they used to be but I assume it's my age and my ruined-over-the-years ears.
love is all.

the ballons during Saturate was a great idea ! It perectly fits the visuals ! Except they should explode...
nice idea for the tour though, they should do that in order to create more crowd participation, as Underworld don't do it anymore (they used to launch ballons in the crowd during Born Slippy Nuxx)
