Apperently some press photo from the microsoft offices accidently had a box artwork for the PC version in the background. Microsoft refused to comment either way. That's as good as an admission.





Gears of War on PC?

A magazine photo may have leaked the truth.

November 16, 2006 - In its holiday issue, soon to be on store shelves, PC Gamer may have inadvertently announced Gears of War for Windows. On page 28 of the Holiday 2006 issue, a display stand photographed on the Microsoft campus shows Gears of War among several upcoming PC games.



Microsoft could not confirm that Gears is in fact coming to PC and the company has no current plans for an announcement in the near future. The article in PC Gamer discusses the future of Windows Vista and Microsoft's efforts to support the new OS with high-profile games.



Though Gears of War is not guaranteed to arrive on Windows, the sighting raises hope. There's no doubt that Gears for Windows would be a hit. And if we're smart enough to figure that out, so is Microsoft.

Yeah I read that too, but I also read that it means fuck all. They have no need to bring it to the PC. Let me see if I can't find the article...

I'm not to upset about it, I don't think it's really my sort of game either... Also, not like I can play any new games on my PC! Splintay Cell still sits on my desk-unused :'(

I got the demo of double agent. It really, really needs an xbox controller.

It's a PC game through and through. It requires pin point accuracy which you can't get with a game pad.

I can't steer a 3rd person game with a mouse properly.



I have to have one mouse button bound to 'forward' and the other to 'shoot' or I'm useless. The idea of moving independently of where I'm looking only works with 2 analog sticks for me.

Everyone wants a Wii! Even I, who rarely plays games and have a dormant Xbox with 21 games I was reading earlier, a CPU test was done on the Linux PS3 and it was equivallent to a 800Mhz Pentium 3 8O

I finaly got my Wii (a Pal one... Tired of waiting Cinebox.net to receive a Wii...)



I stood in the line for 6 hours with friends to have it on 7th December at midnight, at the Champs Elys�es Fnac. It was a fun experience and I was one of the first in Europe to have it :p



Nintendo Wii rocks ! I have to check the manual to see if there are silly drawings like that :d
