Hi,
I hope you don't mind the intrusion of this message as I know you must get a lot of these, but there was a blog on here earlier today with news about the latest record being completed and hints of coming US tour dates. Needless to say this exciting news whipped a few of us who are on the Chemical Brothers' official message board into a small frenzy! But now that blog has disappeared, and we're a little nervous and wondering why. Was this simply a case of prematurely spilling the beans about the new album/upcoming tour dates?
I understand if you can't respond to this message but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. ;)
I hope things are going well on your end. The fans over on the official messageboard look forward to the updates on myspace!

dude, that one you posted is from Saturday. They posted a brand spankin new one today (the one wrapped in quotes on that i first posted) stating that the album is FINISHED

If the Chems play up north I am definitely looking into going... if I can get a willing relative to watch our son. I would imagine if they decided to play one date up north and one day down south the shows would be back to back or very close to it. I was bummed that I missed the show they did with New Order, but with Coachella, work, sitter and how financially tight it was at the time - it just wasn't in the cards.
God, I hope S. California is in the cards. I hope so!!
It's about time for the Chemical senses tingling. I need to break out the Coachella bootleg and give that whirl. By the time the album comes out the tingling sensations are going to feel like pins and needles all over my body.
The wait... the wait is killing me, I say!!!
Southern California will be in the cards for me if it's in the cards for the Chems. I'm going to see them as many times as possible this tour, just like I did last tour. And excitedly enough, I'm going to see them on two continents this time around. 8)
When they come to S. California, we'll definitely do a meetup down there. And if they only come to N. California, I hope you'd be able to do a meetup here.
In any event, I've got the shivers going as well. TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!! AAUUUUGHH!

I really hope they come during the summer to California. It would be hard for me to get down during the schoolyear. I'd have to wait and make a London trip at a later date.
