would love to see a flip the switch style remix of this album.

With proper remixes, that is...

But any remix would probably end up being better than the original. :P

It was also written in a couple of weeks, but this is the album 'human after all' so desperately wants to be.

Btw, this is the same guy who discovered Air and a lot of other French artists.

Get this album now! (and the first one too!)

Well some tracks are a bit dull, OK. I even hated that album the first time I listened to it. But I think it's a grower and now there are some tracks that I really like (Human After All, Prime Time, Technologic..). It's not as easy to listen to as the previous records, that's why I think people are a bit turned off during the first listen they give to it. That on/off track is useless as hell though.

Nah, I also listen to Aphex Twin and Autechre and this kind of music (IDM) is said to be unlistenable by some, so I don't think that's it. I guess it's just a crappy album and the DP guys are a bunch of lazy gits.

I'm kind of enjoying Human After All, not to listen to "actively" so much, but more as background music to some other activity. Finding myself with certain tracks stuck in my head - title track, TVRTN, etc.

That's because the vocal is looped over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

I could have copied and pasted the words "over and over" but I typed them instead. That's how pissed off I am at this album.

robot rock is that kind of machine just being played again and again and again and again and then, suddenly, being dropped.

and the whole record is a waste of money for the people buying it and a waste of time DP did
