I get out, then he gets out! He's like 65 or 70 years old! I tell him 'didn't you hear me honking at you?' He says 'I thought that the car in front of me was honking!'

You've had bad luck with automobiles, lately.
Finals are just around the corner for me. I'm experiencing a fair bit of stress, but I'm working hard and avoiding work when I need to avoid it.
AUGH. There goes the stress. Yep. FUCK.
Please, people out there, by all means--have fun... for me... please... just... go have fun... because I won't see much of the light of day outside of the library for the next couple of weeks...

Everything is going good in this end of the world. Work is keeping me busy but my best friend just moved out here to Sioux Lookout to work as a pharmacist and live with us, starting to plot the next round of vacations (spring in England is on for sure, already have my ticket to a Liverpool game), and just started getting more into tunes again.
I bought a Korg Electribe ER-1 drum synth for making some beats and noises (goes along with the oft-neglected EA-1 I got ages ago) a while back. Couple weeks ago my housemates and I all pitched on a Numark MIXDECK for an intro DJ set-up and loving it so far. And last night, while drunk, ended up ordering a Microkorg on sale. With winter approaching, just got the itch to curl up in front of the fire and turn it up to 11! If anyone's got any hints, tips, suggestions for any of the aforementioned equipment, I'm all ears since none of us really have any experience with producing or DJing but it's been fun so far.
Hope everyone is doing well and feel free to drop me a line or Facebook me or whatever.
Cheers!
Darkstar out! (for the evening anyways, bedtime now)

Pooter, hang in there. It's only a couple more weeks. I think in the recent past you've had enough fun for everyone here.
I myself have been OK. The holidays are coming up and it's my least favorite time of year to be in the employment field I'm in. School just ended its first quarter for me (can't believe how time has flown) so I have January to look forward to when 2nd quarter starts. Can't wait!

Long time no speakie. Been busy. Bit to busy, hence the reason why i am now at home; i 'overworked' myself at a job i didn't even like. So now, doctors orders, i have to rest for 3 months (ME! REST! WTF?) buy quite frankly i HAVE to rest because i have zero energy.
So now i am at the point in my life where i HAVE to choose for what makes me happy instead of the big money career job. So i am going back to 'school' for acting and tv-hosting. Yes! And i have some exciting projects lined up in that area too, but nothing is ever for certain so we'll see about that. Time to make my dreams come true, and if i don't succeed, at least i tried.
So what have we learned from this kids? Don't work to hard, and if you work reaaaally hard make sure it's a job you like doing, and always try and make your dreams come true!
A lesson from yours truly.
Obv i will be lurking more now that i am homebound.
Big love to you all pumpkins.

I know you will be successful no matter what path you choose. When you've worked your job and want a fresh start - I believe school is the answer and the key to following your dream.
Jeanie, welcome home.

The Shake wight joke wasn't just a handjob reference, it was much deeper than that.
I laughed out loud at that episode, for real!
My husband is a total foodie, loves to cook and watches a lot of those cooking shows. I don't have a shake weight, but that episode really hit close to home.
